Things are getting worse for those of the majority who now have a president who deviates from the widespread beliefs of white superiority. Beliefs that are not just the crux of white self-esteem but the foundation for the national myth of meritocracy. Things are getting worse for a white world so afraid of being genetically obliterated that they are willing to infringe on a white woman’s right to choose.

For black people, each day presents a new stage for the social reproduction of the anti-intellectualism that brought us here. Things are not getting worse, in fact, with the overt unraveling and inevitable implosion of white supremacy, we, as a collective have a unique chance to reclaim what’s ours.

I did not watch the debate last night. I watched the debate on CNN today and besides inducing yawns, I was THAT unimpressed with what I saw. It just occurred to me that regardless of which candidate ‘wins’ the election and the outcome is extremely doubtful that there will be any ‘winners’ in Amerikkka after the smoke has cleared, if it ever does, American descendants of slavery will be no better or worse than we are now. However, with that having been said, it would appear, despite Trump’s rhetoric to the contrary, in that the economy is improving, the truth is, he is lying, AGAIN. Trump claimed that 10.4 million people are back in the workforce. Well, if that be the case, I would love for him to explain this:

One Day, Thousands of Job Cuts: The Economic Pain Is Deepening

Tens of thousands of job cuts announced by blue-chip companies in a 24-hour period are a warning sign for the world’s recovery and emerge just ahead of two key reports forecast to show limited progress in the U.S. labor market.

In one of the biggest layoff announcements since the pandemic caused widespread economic shutdowns, Walt Disney Co. said late Tuesday that it’s slashing 28,000 workers in its slumping U.S. resort business.

At Disney, the cuts also involve executives and salaried employees, the company said. And so we are not just talking about frontline workers, we are also talking about EXECUTIVES who are usually above job cuts. And who are mostly in EXECUTIVE positions? Whites!

Also, Allstate Corp., the fourth-largest car insurer in the U.S., said it will cut 3,800 jobs, Halliburton Co., the world’s largest fracker, is eliminating an entire layer of management, while Marathon Petroleum Corp., the biggest independent U.S. crude refiner, has embarked on its second round of job cuts that will affect about 2,050 employees, and is targeting salaried positions at plants in Texas, California and Louisiana.

And so while white folks are standing somewhere in California taking pictures of a closed theme park, the situation is beginning to look more bleak for more white folks while their two candidates for the presidency just ‘debated’ and looked like two kids in a sandbox squabbling over who knocked over the sand statue.

The shit is getting serious and and the worst is yet to come if last night’s debate is anything to go by because Donald Trump was as usual loud, obnoxious, blustery, lying, racist and oh, did I say, RACIST??!! But then so is Joe Biden. He just tries to downplay his racism while Trump is proud to display his, isn’t that right ‘proud boys’? Trump even managed to ‘dog whistle’ during the ‘debate’. How so like him.

But if folks think that what has been going down thus far is bad, wait until after the election, things are sure to pick up the pace in going from bad to far, far worse. I can see no light at the end of this ‘election’ tunnel and whites, even you are not going to be able to escape what’s ahead. The writing is on the wall and no amount of ‘proud boys’ groups or Klan kops is going to be able to do a damn thing about what’s going to affect you as well. So, keep your hatred of us coming. Keep your guns handy as you always do and keep your ‘patriotism’ on full display with your Amerikkkan flags flying and still none of that is going to make a bit of difference because your future is more bleak than you can imagine.
