A Case Of Two Wrongful Death Settlements

First, the Breonna Taylor ‘wrongful death settlement’ that has been heralded as the largest settlement of its kind in the history of Louisville, Kentucky; $12 million.

Breonna Taylor’s Family Historic Settlement a Good Start … But We Demand Full Justice!!!

Breonna Taylor’s family and legal team are giving praise to the City of Louisville for reaching a historic settlement in her wrongful death case, but they’re making it crystal clear their mission’s not changed … they want full justice for Breonna, and for the cops who killed her to be arrested and charged.

Attorney Ben Crump says the huge financial settlement has helped assure that Breonna’s death won’t be swept under the rug like so many black women before her, but equally important is the comprehensive police reform to be instituted to prevent future tragedies like Breonna’s.

Crump claims the $12 million settlement is the largest amount ever for a Black woman in a wrongful death case involving police, and may be the largest ever for a Black person in America.

Also, according to Louisville’s mayor,Greg Fischer, there will be lots of police reform to ensure that what happened to Breonna Taylor will not happen to anyone else and so now, everyone can rest easy in their beds who actually believe that bullshit. Not only that, but calling this settlement, ‘historic for a Black woman’ is the absolute end of enough and a direct slap in the face to every Black woman in Amerikkka. $12 million lousy dollars for a wrongful death settlement when Breonna Taylor will NOT get to spend one damn dime of that money. That money is cold comfort to equally cold and dead Breonna Taylor. That pittance is no more than ‘hush’ money because I don’t care how many ‘reforms’ the mayor claims will be instituted, the racist criminal justice system cannot be reformed. It needs to be totally dismantled because it is the former slave patrol on steroids; it just morphed into more of a monster than it started out to be and that’s saying something.

If Breonna Taylor had been my daughter, I would have told the city of Louisville, Kentucky where to stick their lousy ass twelve million. My daughter’s life, would not have been reduced to a twelve million dollar payout when she was as innocent as a newborn baby because she had done nothing wrong. Breonna Taylor was asleep in her home and kops bust down her door and shot her without even bothering to check that the suspect they were after had already been apprehended and as of today, not one kop has been charged with her murder and now the concentration is on the fact that twelve million dollars has been declared the biggest payout in the history of Louisville Kentucky for a wrongful death lawsuit over a Black woman and so be grateful, sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up because ‘history’ has been made. Never mind that no one on the scene of Breonna’s murder even bothered to render aid to her. Not one of those racist thugs that bust down her door even bothered to glance at her, they just went about the business of searching for drugs and found none. Breonna Taylor’s lifeless body, by then, was a mere afterthought and yet I’m going to stand somewhere and claim a twelve million dollar “shut the hell up about it” settlement is something to write home about? Nothing fucking doing!

I don’t give a shit that Breonna Taylor’s mother and her attorney, Ben Crump are still claiming that they are insisting that the kops that murdered Breonna Taylor be arrested and charged with murdering her. I don’t give a damn about Ben Crump calling for all charges to be dropped against protesters who protested the kops killing Breonna Taylor because as far as the whites are concerned, it’s done. It’s over. Next! And just how much do you seriously think that Breonna Taylor’s ‘estate’ is going to receive after Ben Crump takes his cut because believe me, the attorney ALWAYS walks away with the majority of any settlement monies because if they did not, would there be as many attorneys as there are? And why is it that Ben Crump only takes ‘high profile’ cases? It is because the public does his work for him. The public assures Ben Crump of making millions by effectively doing his work for him while he sits in his office, leans back, puts his heels up and watches the news for the latest protests on Breonna Taylor’s behalf. If Ben Crump was so concerned about those protesters being released from jail, then with his considerable fortune, why did he not represent them, bail them out and stand at a press conference and speak about what a wonderful job they did on helping him to reach a settlement with the city of Louisville, Kentucky?

Crump says, “We want full justice, not just partial justice,” and is also calling for all charges to be dropped against nonviolent protesters who were arrested for demanding justice for Breonna. He attributes the victory to all the people who have been protesting and fighting for justice.

That Uncle Tom piece of shit is just another bloated windbag sellout who is nothing more than a dirty, snake of a lawyer with not a grain of integrity, honor or ethics just like ALL attorneys, bar none! And I should know. I have had enough dealings with them.

And so we come to the next case.

Judge Approves $20M Settlement For Justine Ruszczyk Damond’s Family

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The largest police settlement in Minneapolis history has been approved.

On Tuesday, a City of Minneapolis representative confirmed that state district court Judge Mary Vasaly approved the $20 million settlement with the family of Justine Ruszczyk Damond.

Of that settlement, the distribution is as follows: $5.7 million goes to Justine Ruszczyk Damond’s brother, Jason Ruszczyk, $5 million to her father, John Ruszczyk, and $1 million to her fiancé, Donald Damond. Approximately $6.3 million goes to attorneys’ fees.

Another $2 million goes to the Fund for Safe Communities at the Minneapolis Foundation. The fund is a program to fight gun violence in the city.

Ruszczyk Damond was shot and killed by then-officer Mohamed Noor in 2017. A jury found Noor guilty of third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

Convicted former police officer, Mohamed Noor, is serving a twelve year, six month sentence for killing Justine Damond. But of course, look at who did the dying and who did the murdering.

Mohamed Noor shot Justine Damond because he ‘claimed’ to have heard a noise and fired his gun, thus killing Justine Damond as she stood by his patrol car after she had called the police on a suspected sexual assault occurring outside in the alleyway behind her home. Noor and another officer responded. Neither exited the patrol car and Damond walked up to it and was shot by Noor.

The whites in Damond’s upper class south Minneapolis neighborhood went the fuck off, demanding justice for Damond and calling for the heads of several city employees including the chief of police and the mayor, which they received since the mayor, Betsy Hodges is mayor no more and the police chief was forced out as well. No one had to protest or lift a finger really because justice was going to be served FOR Miss Australian Justine ‘goldilocks’ Damond. The ‘wall of blue’ that usually surrounds kops that go on murdering sprees was nowhere to be found in this case since Noor is behind bars even though he claimed the usual that gets ALL white kops off, “I feared for my partner’s life and so I fired my gun.” The partner, who was white, was quite in shock and said so because it was his contention that he did not ‘fear for his life’ and so did not know why former officer Noor fired his gun. But be that as it may, why does Justine Damond’s wrongful death settlement garner a $20 million dollar payout while Breonna Taylor’s garners a $12 million dollar payout? Notice any glaring difference? I’ll give you a hint.

Now, take into consideration that Justine Damond CHOSE to come to this shithole. Former Somali cop Mohamed Noor CHOSE to come to this shithole. Who did not? Breonna Taylor and so why did IMMIGRANT Justine Damond’s family received $20 million dollars when her ass would still be alive if she had not IMMIGRATED to this shithole from Australia? Not only that, but IMMIGRANT Mohamed Noor would not be sitting up in prison for killing Damond if his ass had remained in Somalia. Both had passports and yet, both were involved in a similar case as Breonna Taylor’s and yet, Breonna Taylor’s murderers have NOT been brought to justice. No charges have been filed and Breonna’s estate is to receive $12 million, minus attorney’s fees, of course. And as you can see in the above quotes, the attorney on the Justine Damond case received more in attorney’s fees than any of Justine Damond’s loved ones. But the same is going to happen in the case of Breonna Taylor’s settlement. Ben Crump will make out like the bandit he is, while Breonna Taylor’s estate will receive the crumbs he doles out.

Not to mention, what police reforms were put in place in Minnesota to stop the senseless murder of unarmed innocent citizens because even though Philando Castile had a gun when he was pulled over, he had a permit to carry that gun and yet, what did he receive for his actions of complying with the kop that murdered him? Dead. That’s what he got and the wrongful death settlement reached on behalf of his estate? A three million dollar settlement. That’s justice, right?

Again I ask, where were the police reforms after Philando Castile was murdered in 2016? Where were the police reforms after Justine Damond was murdered in 2017? And so why are we then to suppose that there will be police reforms after the murder of Breonna Taylor in 2020 especially seeing as how there were mass protests, worldwide with the murder of George Floyd in May of this year? Where are the police reforms? Who needs or wants to hear more lies from mayors and police chiefs and police unions about reform of the criminal justice system which needs to be dismantled, nationwide? How many more people need to lose their lives at the hands of the state before the people take action and put paid to those murdering animals for good because make no mistake, kops are going to go on killing mostly American descendants of slavery and no amount of protesting is going to make that shit stop. No amount of payoffs is going to stop that because taxpayers are footing the bill for those settlements.

The citizens of this country need to take a leadership stance and demand that the entire racist criminal justice system be completely dismantled because it is mostly made up of members of hate groups and what’s more, that shit is well known by police departments all across this shithole. Mohamed Noor was made to pay for the killing of Justine Damond because he was not really one of the ‘boys in blue’ which are code words for ‘white supremacy’ groups. And make no mistake, the only reason Derek Chauvin is sitting behind bars is because who the fuck couldn’t see that he deliberately and with malice aforethought and with intent to kill, did indeed, kill George Floyd and now want to blame George Floyd’s death on Fentanyl. We ALL know that fentanyl did not kill George Floyd, Derek Chauvin and the rest of the ‘boyz in blue’ killed him and so, I ask, yet AGAIN, where are the promised POLICE REFORMS? Because they are certainly non-existent in Minneapolis and they will be just as non-existent in Louisville, Kentucky. But now that Breonna Taylor’s mother, Tamika Palmer, can take her $3 million dollar cut from the whopping $12 million dollar insult to Breonna, all’s well that ends well until another high profile case makes the headlines and all over it like flies on shit, Ben Crump will be and he will have the protesters to thank for doing his job for him, but they will receive from him, nothing but useless thanks because he damn sure as hell will not use his substantial dirty money to represent them or bail them out of jail.

Until next time because make no mistake, there will be a next time. If you cannot count on anything else, you can count on that. Yet you want whites to understand that Black Lives Matter. The lives of Black women don’t count for shit to these racists in Amerikkka and what’s more our lives never will. A $12 million dollar payout is an insult to the memory of Breonna Taylor and her mother should be ashamed of herself for making such a big deal over hush money and an attorney that is a criminal his damn self and who is certainly NO friend to American descendants of slavery. Black Woman Attacked By White Woman While Jogging In New York City Caught On Surveillance Camera But Kops Wait Over A Month To Release The Footage

The Queens jogger who was attacked by a bottle-wielding woman who hurled a hateful racist epithet at her said Wednesday she wants her assailant brought to justice.

Tiffany Johnson was jogging at 53rd Place and Broadway in Woodside around noon Aug. 17 when a stranger hurled a bottle at her and yelled, “Get out of here, n—-r, go back to Africa!,” video released by police on Wednesday shows.

“It’s a hate crime,” Johnson told The Post in a phone interview. “It’s not acceptable. She has to be [held] responsible for her behavior.”

Not only is it a ‘hate crime’, it is assault and some more shit and yet, the police have no interest in bringing that white bitch to ‘justice’, but if the tables had been turned and the Black woman had did that to a white woman, no amount of police manpower would have been spared to find her and put her behind bars.

And what I would also like to know is what did the white bitch mean when she said, “Go back to Africa?” Since when did descendants of slavery ever step foot in Africa in the first place? It’s Not That White Women Didn’t Listen to Black Women, White Women Didn’t Care About Black Women

When the Listen to Black Women letter came across my social media feed, I struggled to connect with its authenticity. I couldn’t reconcile that many White women were finally deciding to listen to Black women when Black women have been screaming for decades.

You cannot say, “The silence of the majority of white people, including white women, on the issue of racial injustice, allows race-based inequity and violence to continue with devastating consequences.” And then say, “As white women, we refuse to be silent.”

Since when?

The truth is, White women, you have been silent. White women in Kentucky have been quiet for far too long. The tragic murder of Breonna Taylor was just the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. There were many opportunities for White women to Listen to Black Women, yet you remained silent. You were silent as Black people were removed from their homes so their communities could be gentrified. You were silent while Black people were over policed in their communities. You were silent during the crack epidemic, which decimated Black families for generations. You were silent when Gynnya McMillen was found dead in a juvenile detention center. You were silent when Black girls had to fight for the right to wear their natural hair or braids to school. You were silent as Black children were expelled from JCPS at an alarming rate. You were silent as grocery stores were removed from Black communities. You were silent when Maurice Stallard and Vickie Jones were murdered at Kroger simply for Shopping While Black. You were silent as this city quarantined Black people beyond 9th Street. You were silent when a Black legislator attempted to pass a law so Black women could wear their natural hair and not face discrimination. You were silent when Tae-Ahn Lea was racially profiled for Driving While Black. You were silent when this state passed a law to allow armed officers in every school, knowing full well how Black youth are treated within the school system. You were silent when this city passed the Gang Bill that will undoubtedly impact Black people. You were silent when business leaders blamed downtown revenue losses on the ongoing protests and not a pandemic. And your silence extends well beyond the bluegrass of Kentucky.

Now I will admit that I had heard nothing about some damn letter that white women are supposed to sign on about how they, at this point in time, “refuse to be silent” on the issue of racial injustice, etc., etc. But just as Ms. Drake says, “since when have you refused to be silent WHITE women?” You’ve been silent as cat piss unless we are jogging and you screech “Get out of here fucking n—-r, go back to Africa!.” Oh, you are quite vocal then. But when it comes to what has been visited on the Black woman since our ancestors were enduring slavery at the hands of you and your male counterparts, where were the calls from you about how that shit just wasn’t kosher? For over four hundred years, your damn pasty asses have kept your goddamn mouths shut unless you were screaming about how you want a ‘feminist movement’. You wanted Black women to stand with you only as extra bodies to add validity to your dumb ass movement which, when all was said and done, did NOT include Black women because if it did, would Black women and their babies be dying at a disproportionate rate in the year 2020? Would Black women still receive less pay on the job for doing the same job as your white ass? Should there be less Black women in executive positions or more? There should be more but because your white ass was silent as the grave when all was said and done, Black women made no gains who joined with you in YOUR feminist movement.

I just wanted to reach out to you and make sure I had a good e-mail for you just in case you and I needed to get in contact with one another if, heaven forbid, they take down my website or yours. And you are right, I do believe that WordPress will more than likely shut me down. I am quite surprised that I’ve lasted this long on that site. I’m probably not a threat to them since I only have 515 followers. If I had more than that, I would have been shut down, but I am not perceived as a threat yet. And you know my content will kick anybody’s ass, eventually because I don’t play. To My Dear Sistas, Shanequa And Qnubian385, Just So You Know, Black ‘Men’ Don’t Care About Us!

Before COVID-19 even came raging through here, I looked all around the blog world and Black ‘men’ were taking down their shingle, closing down their blogs and talking about how they had “upcoming projects” and so would be out of commission for quite some time.

Black women who followed some Black men’s blogs even inquired about them; asked me if I knew how they were doing, if they were well and so forth and so on. One of the bloggers in question, I was able to get into contact with. He, at that time, went by the name “Kushite Prince.” Now, all of a sudden, he is KushiteP. You see, he shut his blog down and ran for the hills. He never even let his most faithful followers know what was up; just left everyone of them hanging with not a thought in his head that some of them actually would get concerned when they no longer saw his blog which was about how “kings need to protect their queens.” That was what Kushite Prince’s blog was mostly ALL about and he really did have some faithful followers, especially female ones; Shanequa and Qnubian385 being among them, myself included.

So when qnubian asked me if I knew if Kushite Prince was doing alright, I told her that I had Prince’s email address and that I would email him and tell him that her and Shanequa had asked about him since they had not seen hide nor hair of Kushite Prince for a minute. Below is the email that I sent to Kushite Prince.

Now, here is the response I received from Kushite Prince, but only AFTER I had sent an inquiry about him.

So as you can see Shanequa and Qnubian, Kushite Prince was NOT thinking about you two. If he told a “few people” that he “needed a break,” it must have been some punk ass bitch Black men because he certainly left us out of the loop. And you three are now having what amounts to a ‘family reunion’ on my blog because guess what? Prince’s blog is ‘gone with the wind’. That is why he is now known as ‘KushiteP’ instead of ‘KushitePrince’. What was he so terrified of that made him close down his entire blog? You see I didn’t close mine down. And now, he’s back on my blog making comments when he had a whole blog. But you’ve got to comment back and forth with him on MY blog. What kind of shit is that?

And so that you know, Kushite Prince is not the only Black motherfucker to do a bunk which means to “suddenly leave without telling anyone”, there was another piece of shit I ‘followed’ named ‘KrebTalk’.

Now, here is another Black motherfucker who also needed a ‘time out’, all of a suddenlike, you know like, right when the shit was hitting the fan. You see the Black ‘MEN’ vanished; closed blogs down and some mo shit! Yeah! This is the shit that’s going to ‘protect’ us when shit hits the fan! They just look out for their own worthless hide and leave others in the damn dust. Oh I know that we’re not their family members, but they’re the ones who were always going on and on about how we are all ‘family’, but when all is said and done, that’s quite obviously just pure bullshit talk!

Here we have another Black man, who, all of a sudden, had a project to work on and so closed his blog and headed for the hills. This IS Black men. This man’s blog was filled with nothing but stories about how bad Black people in Amerikkka are being treated and just as soon as the shit is hitting the fan, what does this Black man do? He picks up his marbles and walks OFF!!

Breonna Taylor’s mother is urging people to remember her late daughter’s legacy and call for justice on what would’ve been her 27th birthday.

Breonna Taylor, an African American aspiring nurse working as an EMT, was fatally shot eight times by police officers while [ASLEEP] in her own home in Louisville, Kentucky on March 13.

A civil lawsuit, which was filed by her family on April 27, alleges police entered the residence unannounced and were actually looking for a man who lived in Taylor’s building but not her apartment.

“In that brief moment, where people forgot about her for two months at a time, people need to know that Breonna Taylor mattered and that Breonna Taylor was great,” Tamika Palmer, Breonna’s mother said.

Before Breonna Taylor was murdered in her sleep by racist kops, who have not been charged with any crimes, Breonna was on the frontlines of a pandemic carting COVID-19 infected patients to the hospital, while at the same time, she was studying to become a nurse. She had no criminal record, which whites love to bring up about ALL Black people who have been murdered by kops. She was a fine, upstanding citizen and even as Breonna lay dead inside her apartment, the kops were busy looking for drugs, which they did NOT find. But then of course, according to whites, ALL Black people are using some type of ‘illegal substance’ when those parasites know that their medicine cabinet is loaded down with percocet, valium and xanax. Breonna Taylor’s background was clean as a whistle and yet, she’s dead; murdered by racists in blue uniforms and though there have been arrests and charges brought against those who are responsible for why George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery are no longer here with us, no kop has even been arrested for murdering Breonna Taylor.

Why do Black women getting murdered by racist kops not matter? If Black Lives Matter, then that should include ALL Black Lives and not just the lives of Black men. Black women no more deserve to be senselessly murdered by racist kops than Black men deserve to be murdered by racist kops. But where are the Black men when it comes to protesting or marching and shouting “No justice! No peace! And as of today, on her daughter’s birthday, not one of those damn thugs in blue uniforms has been charged with a crime despite a formal investigation into Breonna’s death, launched by the FBI Louisville office on May 21. But what they failed to consider is the fact that what would come after them wouldn’t even be close to what they were in terms of TRUE and REAL warriors and heroes who were selfless. Malcolm X knew he was a dead man walking as did Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and yet they continued to do what they felt they needed to do. The sad part is that what they did was ALL in vain because look around you at what we have to work with today; not a goddamn thing worth mentioning.

Black preachers are in pulpits all across this shithole spouting nonsense and fake ass prayers that’s doing not a goddamn gnat’s ass worth of anything when it comes to making things better for American descendants of slavery. Because you’ve got to be really, really stupid if you think any damn thing is going to be different. Hell! The kops are upping the ante as I type this and have decided that if they can’t fuck shit up, they’d rather quit. And 57 of them did just that because of a couple of kops getting disciplined because they knocked down and injured the head of a 75-year old white man. This occurred in Buffalo, NY.

Just so you know, those thugs in blue and brown uniforms are in it for the long haul so long as they can continue busting heads and killing Black people and that includes Black WOMEN.

Black women, I understand that the Black men who are being murdered by kops are your sons, husbands, brothers, uncles, cousins, nephews, etc., but you also need to understand that Black women are also the victims of these crimes and Black men are hardly in evidence when it comes to taking on the system on our behalf. We’ve done the best we can by our Black men. It is time for them to do the same for us. And Breonna Taylor’s mother should not be sitting somewhere on “Good Morning America,” bemoaning the fact that hardly anyone remembers that her daughter was murdered, shot 8 times in her sleep by white kops who had no business busting down her door in the first place and not one of them has been charged with a crime. There have been charges filed against those who murdered George Floyd. There have been charges filed against those who murdered Ahmaud Arbery because there were mass protests for both men. And Black women were front and center throughout it all! So, where the fuck are you, BLACK MEN??!!! Breonna Taylor’s mother would like to know! And so would I!! Only Louisville seems to have been protesting the kops murdering Breonna Taylor, thus why her mother is mourning the loss of her daughter on “Good Morning America” and wondering why no one believes that her daughter’s life mattered.

What the hell??!! I’m sitting somewhere dealing with my own problems as they relate to racist ass whites and yet, I’m just finding out about a young Black woman whose neighbor called the police NON-EMERGENCY number for a welfare check on his neighbor whose door happened to be ajar longer than he thought it should have been and the cops arrive and she promptly gets shot dead for being in her own home. Here’s an idea, neighbor who got your neighbor shot dead, next time, mind your own damn business! I wouldn’t call the cops on my next door neighbors if they were going the fuck off because calling the cops will only make a bad situation, lethal.

When will we ever get the message? Don’t fucking call the cops on your goddamn neighbors. If you don’t hear any screaming, yelling, fighting, banging, shooting, then leave your neighbors the fuck alone! And even if you hear ALL of that shit, leave it the fuck alone, Black folks! You fucking should know better! You must want us killed if you call the cops on us!

When I was in Baltimore, MD and my cousin was going through a mental breakdown, I called the ’24-hour mental health crisis line’ and they told me to call the cops. I said, “And get us both shot? No fucking thank you!” They told me to call and ask for “The GOOD cops!” I’m like, “Are you fucking serious??!!! There ain’t no GOOD cops, bitch! Shut the fuck up!” And I hung up and dealt as best I could, but both my cousin and myself lived to see another day thanks to me not taking the advice from that worthless bitch on the phone. But as usual, I digress!

Former Fort Worth Police Officer Aaron Dean Charged With Murder

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – The Fort Worth Police officer who shot and killed a woman in her home early Saturday morning has been booked into the Tarrant County Jail and charged with murder.

Bond has not been set.

Aaron Dean, who resigned from the Fort Worth Police Department earlier Monday, shot and killed Atatiana Jefferson in her home while responding to a welfare check this weekend has resigned from the department before he could be fired.

Body-cam video was also released that showed the events leading up to Jefferson’s death. The video shows the officer shining a flashlight into a window and shouting at Jefferson to put her hands up. Not even a full second later, she was shot through the window.

The article also states that the officer who shot her had perceived a threat and drew his weapon while checking her home. He fired once, striking her. He had been with the department since April 2018.

How in the hell was this woman a threat to this racist cop when she was in her own home, minding her business and getting the cops called on her by a neighbor for a welfare check that she obviously didn’t need and could most definitely have done without? She didn’t call the cops reporting a domestic disturbance or an armed intruder and so why would this racist ass cop state that he perceived a threat when Atatiana Jefferson did not even have a clue that racist cops were surrounding her home? She couldn’t pose a threat and that racist bastard fired the shot that killed that woman not even a second after shouting at her to “put her hands up.” And he never even stated that he was a cop. What.The.Fuck. Why should she put her hands up in her own fucking home and how was she supposed to know that a racist cop was barking orders at her when he never even identified himself as a racist cop?

Where is Al Sharpton? Where is Jesse Jackson? Where is Attorney Lee Merritt? He has another high profile case to take on. That man, Lee Merritt, never rests because cases of this type just keep piling up on his desk. And I’m sure that Sharpton and Jackson are going to lead the protests. That beautiful 28-year old woman is dead, shot right in front of her nephew just because her neighbor called the cops for a welfare check and she ends up dead less than a second after a cop barks orders at her to “Put her hands up” in her own damn house. Do you remember that it only took a cop, two seconds to gun down Tamir Rice? Remember him? And what about seven year old Aiyana Mo’Nay Stanley-Jones, who was asleep in her home when she was shot by a racist cop who got not a day in jail for killing that innocent child. And what about Michael Brown? Eric Garner? Walter Scott? Freddie Gray? Sandra Bland? I read the other day that cops have murdered almost 800 people since the year started, 32 were women and all the fuck we do is talk about how we are going to take to the streets and protest, AGAIN! The dust hasn’t even cleared from the Botham Shem Jean/Amber Guyger trial and now this! What.The.Hell.

Chrissie also states in the video that Black women don’t benefit from being ‘community minded’ and that we should only support the Black people who support us. Don’t support Black men or Black family when something happens to them and before it happened, they weren’t thinking about Black women or even knew we were alive and yet we take up the cause for every single one of our Black men or family even when they have turned their backs on us. Black women are always taken for granted. Our support can always be counted on. Look at the pictures that I have posted from Chrissie’s video of who Botham Shem Jean had in his life. There is not one picture with him and a Black woman. The shit that killed him is the same type of shit that he hung out with. Botham Shem Jean did not give two flying shits for Black women and yet we are bent-out-of-shape over his murder to the point whereas we are despondent, have taken to the streets in protest when if it had been one of us who had gotten ourselves murdered in the very same manner he did, his Black ass would still be sitting in his apartment, eating ice cream and talking on the phone to one of the many white women whom he preferred to hang out with. Every Black man is not worth our anguish, heartache, devotion, passion or time. And I am now of the mindset that Botham Shem Jean was worthy of none of the aforementioned.

What is sad is that Black women go on ‘automatic pilot’ when hearing of our Black men getting fucked up. We will immediately don our warrior attire and go to battle. Many Black men and even Black family members are not worth it. Go to bat for yourselves. Expend that energy on you, Black woman. I can honestly say that every Black man in my life hasn’t been worth the trouble of my tears, hand wringing, teeth gnashing and some more shit. I was able to experience this phenomenon first-hand when I experienced abuse within my relationship. I remember very vividly the way that my mother-in-law made me feel after one particular extra-heated argument that my ex-husband and I had that got out of control. She treated me like I didn’t even exist when she came into my home. I don’t have a child, so I couldn’t tell you what my exact reaction would be if I were in her shoes. But as a woman, I know for a fact that I wouldn’t be condoning or enabling any abusive behavior from any family member of mine, let alone my son. To this day, she never once asked me was I ok or tried to check on how I was doing. Instead, she saw me as the cause of the problem. I wonder if maybe she was able to witness the countless conversations that I had with my mom while I locked myself in a bathroom or my car telling her that I was scared to come out, that maybe she might have been more sympathetic. Maybe if she would have seen me in an actual chokehold, she would realize that her son was not the only party capable of being hurt, and that I was someone’s child as well.

I can relate to this woman’s experience on every level. The only difference is that her soon to be ex mother-in-law condoned the abusive behavior of her son towards his wife while my own mother condoned my husband’s abusive behavior towards her own daughter; me. To this very day, my mother still calls my ex-husband, “her son-in-law.” Don’t that beat all? And yet people have the nerve to castigate me for the letter I publicly wrote to my mother. If I thought it would shame her ass at all, I’d write another one. But you can read my “Happy Birthday Wish To My Mother” letter right here!

When my ex-husband beat me and covered me in bruises and I told my parents about it, the only thing they did was encourage me to “work it out with him” because, just as this woman states in her blog, this vicious cycle just continues since my father beat my mother to within an inch of her life, many, many, many times. And so I don’t know why I expected any help from THAT direction especially with the type of upbringing I had.

My situation devolved to the point whereas I had already moved out of the home I shared with my ex-husband and was living on my own, however, that became untenable because my ex-husband would get his friends to watch me coming and going and eventually, he started banging on my door, demanding entrance. Out of abject fear, I had to flee the only town I’d ever known and head to parts unknown with just $700.00 to my name.

So yes indeed, there is much abuse in the African Amerikkkan descendants of slaves community and it should be exposed because only by doing so, will we be able to address the fact that this type of abuse is a serious problem and it needs to stop.

And sadly, as the author of this blog states, this is ALL baggage that is from our history of enslavement in this shithole. How on earth can we be mentally healthy people when we are a product of slavery and we experience racism, bigotry, hatred, prejudice; the whole nine yards to this very day simply because whites dragged our ancestors to this shithole as slaves and still treat the descendants of those slaves worse than shit?! Many of us, apparently, experience self-hatred and project that outward and we are hurting those whom we should be protecting with our lives.

It is still Black women who are on the front lines when racist police gun down our brothers, uncles, fathers, nephews, husbands and sons. We are the ones who do the marching through the streets, the burying, the crying, the demands for justice. We suffer untold atrocities everyday because of our love for our men and yet our men turn right around and beat us senseless? What kind of shit is that? We are not your enemy. Your enemy is the same as ours. If you treat your enemy like some of you treat us, maybe we’d be getting somewhere. You better act like you know! So yes, sista is right on point with this post because I can most definitely relate and I am sure many of you can. I only wish I could not.
