1. Citizens aren’t safe in Lynchburg, like they used to be – and Marty remembers years during his public safety career in the City of Lynchburg when our streets were much safer.

The number one responsibility of government is to protect the lives of those within our city limits and safeguard their property. Public safety is the cornerstone to all other priorities of local government. Education and economic development are important, but our citizens must be safe when they are attending schools or participating in the economy. That is no longer the case in our city. Homicides have risen drastically in the last two years (2021 and 2022 year to date) as referenced by VSP Data and LPD Public Information Releases.

When it comes to senseless violence, we are headed in the wrong direction.

What he means is that Lynchburg, Virginia is going through a GENTRIFICATION PROCESS and there should be MORE funding to get the homeless Black people off the streets when the process is complete. How else are those yuppies going to feel safe after taking over what was once Black neighborhoods? In fact, ALL candidates for city council have that very same mindset/agenda as Pumpkin head Marjins; the Lynchburg Police Department aka Klan Headquarters, is in dire need of public funds over a whopping 6 homicides. 3. Public Safety

Throughout my eight years of service on City Council, I have been a staunch supporter of public safety. I believe having qualified, well-trained, and well-paid police officers, firefighters and emergency communications personnel are all important components of a vibrant and safe community. My record proves that I am willing to do what it takes to ensure that every citizen in the Lynchburg community, regardless of what neighborhood they live in, can feel safe and secure.

Police

• Supported a $10,000 increase in the starting salary all sworn police officers, approximately $40,000 per year to $50,000 per year.

• Voted to implement a pay plan that provides a progression system for annual increases in officer salary

• Voted for new equipment including body worn cameras, an upgrade to Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, new safety equipment for vehicles

• Funding for a new police headquarters on Odd Fellows Road. This new location rather than the original Kemper Street will result in an $8 million cost savings.

• Benefits of the new police headquarters include:

  • Consolidating four locations into one location

  • Provides a modern police facility that includes secured parking for department employees, which significantly enhances safety

  • Includes meeting space that allows the department to invite the public in and build stronger relationships with our community

  • Provides room for growth of the department for many years to come

POLICE, POLICE, POLICE is all you’re going to see from this scum that’s not at all concerned about the poorest citizens of this dead ass burg, but are concerned in assuring the rich yuppies that the agenda of GENTRIFICATION will be pushed through no matter what and the Klan Keystone Kops are backed by every OREO as well as racist white candidate at their disposal. It was the late 1970s, and he was 8 or 9 years old, the eighth in a family of 11 children from a poor and mostly African-American neighborhood in Hartford, Connecticut. The shore of Long Island Sound lay less than 40 miles away, but until that weekend Lester had only ever seen the ocean in books and on television.

[At the beach] Lester set to work building a sand castle, and he was soon joined by a young white girl who wanted to help. “I’m talking to her about how we’re going to do it, we’re working together, and I’m not sure how long it was, but I look up and I see a man—I guess it was her daddy—and he snatches her away,” remembers Lester, recently reached by phone at his Hartford barbershop. Reasoning that it was simply time for the girl to go home, he kept on building.

Then the girl came back. “She says I’m nice, why don’t I just go in the water and wash it off? I was so confused—I only figured out later she meant my complexion.”

It was his first experience with racism.

I am glad that DeSantis sent those illegals to Martha’s Vineyard and yet you see what they did about the situation. Why, they called the military and had those illegals escorted off Martha’s Vineyard and onto a military base. Why did those wealthy whites and Obama’s ass not take them into their big, fancy mansions? They’ve got enough room for them especially seeing as how those are mere vacation homes for those worthless, fancy smancy shits!

LAWRENCE — A swarm of perhaps 100 white men forced their way into the Douglas County Jail to grab George Robertson, Isaac King and Pete Vinegar from their cells and force them to the Kansas River bridge.

What happened next may come as a surprise to residents of a city burnished by a legacy of free state abolitionist sentiment and knowledge of the mass slaughter of men and boys by William Quantrill’s pro-slavery raiders. The three Black men, with tacit endorsement of local law enforcement, were at the mercy of vigilantes. The throng placed ropes around the neck of each man. They were hung until dead from the old stone, wood and steel river crossing.

Black Babies in Kansas are More Likely to Die Than White Babies, and the Pandemic Made Things Worse

Wichita, KS— For years, Black babies in Kansas faced an outsized chance of dying before their first birthday. Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and things got even worse.

Now, a Black baby is nearly three and a half times as likely to die in the state as a white baby. While the nationwide rate of infant mortality dropped between 2019 and 2020, the rate in Kansas swelled about 19% — and for Black children, it surged nearly 58%.

That means that for every 1,000 Black children born, nearly 17 died within their first year of life. For white children, the rate is fewer than five out of every 1,000.

“We knew that (the pandemic) was going to impact Black infant mortality,” said Sapphire Garcia-Lies, a Wichita-based doula and the founder of Kansas Birth Justice Society, a nonprofit working to lower racial disparities around maternal and infant health. “But I don’t think any of us knew that it would be that bad.”

Black families run into more barriers in accessing health care before, during and after pregnancy, said Sharla Smith, a professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center who directs the Kansas Birth Equity Network. And the care those families get, she said, is often worse than what white families can expect.

“We see a lot of discrimination,” Smith said. “We’re also hearing from our parents that they’re not listened to.”

She said part of that stems from systemic racism in the health care system, including a dearth of Black and brown doctors.

Jackson Water Crisis Fueled By Flooding, Years Of Decay

Residents in Jackson, Mississippi, are struggling to find clean water to drink, wash and cook with.

It’s a crisis that goes back decades.

Years of decaying infrastructure, extreme winter weather and flooding have helped push the city’s water system to a point where people sometimes can’t flush toilets or bathe in their own homes.

“The water issues in Jackson really date back to the early ‘80s when they began to notice that there were issues within the infrastructure of the water system,” Ross Reily, a reporter at the Clarion-Ledger, said in an interview Wednesday.

“As we rocked along there would be Band-Aids put on it here and there. And then we got around to 2010 when there was an ice storm … that ended up causing burst pipes all over the city.”

The governor at the time declared a state of emergency over dozens of water main breaks that came after several days of freezing temperatures. Schools and government offices were shut down and businesses closed.

Fast forward to January of 2021, when another round of unusually frigid weather caused the same kinds of problems.

First on CNN: US left behind $7 billion of military equipment in Afghanistan after 2021 withdrawal, Pentagon report says

Washington (CNN)Approximately $7 billion of military equipment the US transferred to the Afghan government over the course of 16 years was left behind in Afghanistan after the US completed its withdrawal from the country in August, according to a congressionally mandated report from the US Department of Defense viewed by CNN.

The Defense Department has no plans to return to Afghanistan to “retrieve or destroy” the equipment, reads the report, which has been provided to Congress. This equipment is now in a country that is controlled by the very enemy the US was trying to drive out over the past two decades: the Taliban.

The US gave a total of $18.6 billion of equipment to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) from 2005 to August 2021, according to the report. Of that total, equipment worth $7.12 billion remained in Afghanistan after the US withdrawal was completed on August 30, 2021. It included aircraft, air-to-ground munitions, military vehicles, weapons, communications equipment and other materials, according to the DoD report.

A luxury Manhattan hotel will soon be used to provide housing to hundreds of illegal migrants, according to the New York Post.

The outlet reported that Democratic Mayor Eric Adams plans to convert the Row NYC, formerly known as the Milford Plaza and nicknamed the “Lullaby of Broadway” in Times Square, into an intake center and shelter for as many as 600 migrant families.

The illegals are now the democrats new voting base. They’ll be provided with IDs, a hotel address and then free townhomes, free food, free clothing, free interpreter services, free medical, free dental; all on our taxes. Black People Celebrating The Fourth Of July Is Madness!

 

 

Of course everyone knows that I will NOT be celebrating the fourth of July. What the hell for? Because I’m free? Because my ancestors were slaves when the first fourth of July was celebrated? Because what a wonderful life my ancestors and I enjoyed and are enjoying in this hellish nightmare shithole??!!! Are you serious?

Black folks, what the fuck are you celebrating? Your continued enslavement? Mass homelessness? Income inequality? The school-to-prison pipeline? Mass incarceration? Food insecurity? Insane poverty numbers? Racist health care? The fact that the whites made you the faces of COVID deaths when that need not have been the case? Continued medical experimentation? Police brutality? Police murdering us with impunity? Gentrification? Obesity statistics that are off the charts among the Black populace? Outrageous diabetes statistics? The fact that our life expectancy is lower than that of wild animals? The absolute horrific statistics of Black people on dialysis? What are you celebrating the fourth of July for? You don’t need all that dead meat on a grill. That is why your ass is heading to dialysis the next fucking day. That is why you are having to test your blood sugar, consistently. That is why you were touted as the faces of COVID deaths when in reality, along with the fucked up foods you eat and the continued medical experimentation done on you by the neo-Nazi death squads fronting as doctors, those are the reasons for Black COVID morbidity.

You are traveling to see family and to get together to celebrate the white man’s holiday because you do whatever the white man tells you to. But back to why you fools think that celebrating the fourth of July is in your best interest. What the hell is wrong with you? Even Martin Luther King Jr., suggested that it was better to integrate with our enemy than to remain segregated from him. How has that worked out for us? I am beyond tired of ALL of these so-called ‘learned’ men telling us what is good for us when nothing they said was what we needed because if it were, would we be in the predicament that we are in today? Fools talked at us about the buybull and chrisitanity which is the white man’s religion, but pray tell me, do you see the white man hell bent on living up to his religion whereas it calls for him to give up his worldly goods and follow his so-called ‘savior’? Do you see any of that happening? The only problem is, even he does not believe that bullshit, but he certainly has you Black folks believing in some paradise in the sky somewhere just awaiting for you to enter its pearly gates and be bestowed with what the white man has said will be your due upon your death. What to the Black person is the white man’s fourth of you lie? A lie to end all lies when we are celebrating no freedoms that we have never had and what’s more, never will. For those of you who have read the previous blogs that I posted about Lynchburg, Virginia, you should not be shocked at the fact that Lynchburg, Virginia has the dubious distinction of making the list as one of “THE MOST RACIST CITIES IN VIRGINIA.” Of course I am sure that one would be hard-pressed to find a city in Virginia that is not “most racist,” and does not have a klan chapter operating out of it, but this just proves what I have been saying all along. The hypocritical buybull toting racists in this burg are the epitome of fake assed pretenders. They smile in your face, knowing all the while that with all the land they own, at night, they’re standing in some other racist’s field carrying a torch and sporting a white sheet and a hood. The next day, they are your doctors, lawyers, landlords, bank tellers, social workers, teachers, restaurant owners, news reporters and so forth and so on. And if you make waves, you will be dealt with, sort of like what these racists have in store for me, not that they haven’t already been trying to “deal with me.” In fact, my cousin was in Kroger at the customer service counter just the other day and lo and behold, my most sainted mother(according to her) was standing right in front of him. They looked at each other and turned the other way. Now, remember, that’s the cousin that lives with me. My dear, sainted mother knew better than to part her lips to even whisper my name. But as usual, I digress.

This next chart is a complete and utter lie and it will probably be self-explanatory, but I’ll explain what I mean anyway. And you should know that this particular chart only pertains to Lynchburg, Virginia.

 

How the hell is THAT believable when every single Asian in this burg either owns an Asian restaurant, nail salon or beauty supply store? You would not be able to find an Asian going anywhere near a soup kitchen even if you camped out with binoculars for months on end trying to spy out one!

It does NOT matter about population count. What matters is the fact that if a district, burg, hamlet, town or city is not enabling an Asian to make bank, they simply move to a more profitable district, burg, hamlet, town or city. In fact, I have another chart that will make an even BIGGER lie out of the above chart. Shall we? Yes, we shall.

 

 

Now, THAT chart is NO lie. Look at where ALL the Asians stand with regards to liquid assets and total assets, does that look like they are struggling and living in abject poverty to you?

Let me explain what is taking place in Lynchburg today. With the full blessings of the mayor, Lynchburg is most rigorously going through the process of GENTRIFICATION. You see, there are seven hills otherwise known as districts and the most poverty stricken districts are where the majority of Lynchburg’s Black citizens live. Most of the housing projects are located in those districts. But what is happening is that even in the so-called Black districts, the whites are coming in and are taking old buildings and turning them into something they hope Lynchburg’s younger, up and coming residents will take to. And with the current state of bigger cities, what with carjackings, smash and grabs, burgs like Lynchburg are looking better and better to whites which is why bigger, multi-family housing management companies are buying up mom and pop owned apartment complexes and are essentially paying them the asking price because they are going to increase the rents on all multi-family developments which will thus make them too expensive for many Black people to afford which is what is happening with the complex I live in. It was privately owned and now it has been bought out by a bigger management company that is trying to run those of us out who cannot afford to pay 400% rent increases.

What is also taking place is that with this economy, many whites in this burg are struggling. I have been perusing Craigslist to get some idea of just how much whites are beginning to feel the pinch of inflation, high gas and diesel prices, high grocery prices and what I’ve found was what I expected. Whites are avid hoarders and some of you may have heard of a television show called, “Hoarders.” I used to watch that show because it was quite telling just what extent whites will go to to not release even an old newspaper, but take a look at what they are letting go on Craigslist because they need the money.

Anybody badly in need of this wreck? It can be yours if the price is right!

So, I am not saying that everyone’s coffers have run dry, but the fact of the matter is prices are rising, gas and diesel is more expensive, food prices are outrageous, companies offering high paying jobs are laying off and the only sectors that are hiring are those that already pay a wage that no one can afford to live on, hence why even whites are taking to looking in their fields for shit that’s been rotting away for decades, pulling it out and putting it on sale on Craigslist. But what are Black people doing? What we’ve ALWAYS done; figure it out and get through it. We don’t have shit hoarded in our yards and in our homes just waiting for a downturn so that we can possibly put it up for sale. We have been living the nightmare of poverty, hopelessness, hunger, income inequality, food insecurity, homelessness and the lot since our ancestors were dragged over here, not to mention a heaping helping of white supremacy, racism, Jim Crow; the whole nine yards. And whites are still trying to figure out why we are still hanging on. It’s because that’s what we have been doing for hundreds of years in this hellhole that you made a hellhole for us and you know this. But I sincerely hope that you whites get a real good dose of some of the shit that we have been dealing with for centuries. Would be about time, I’d say!

 

Fact Or Fiction: Another Story Time Out Of Lynchburg, Virginia, An Ongoing Series

 

This next story is a convoluted one and I’ll start by reminding everyone that some of these stories may be fact and some may be fiction. You decide.

There was this man who was loving and there was this naive woman who had a mother who was not so motherly. When this woman was dating this really nice man, her mother would cuss her out and tell the man he had to leave and so this man could only drive up, knock on the door and take the daughter out. Well, the daughter was tired of always hearing her mother disparage this man and so, she told him that she could not see him again. The man was crestfallen, but what could he do? He did what all men in love do, every time he saw the woman, he would approach her and beg for another chance, but he was never given another chance because the woman knew what she would face from her mother.

So, the woman dates a different man, and lo and behold, her mother likes this man. This man is abusive to her daughter and he even beats her daughter in front of the mother and the father and when he does this, the police are not called. The daughter is told by her mother and father to go to this man’s house and work things out. To make a long story short, the woman marries this abusive man with the blessings of both her parents. Through the years, the abuse continues and gets worse. The woman eventually leaves her abusive husband and flees because she fears for her life. She doesn’t even tell her best friend that she is leaving. Unbeknownst to this woman who left her husband, the husband proceeds to continuously harass the best friend to the point whereas the best friend is terrified of this man. But as the years go by, the wife of this abusive man finally files for divorce and for her, the situation with an abusive man ends.

Now, enters another woman who wants to be with this abusive man. She moves in with him and even though people tell her that she is living with a man who abused his ex-wife, she pays no heed at all. She lives with this man for years, but then, she finds out that he is cheating on her and he has a huge gambling problem. She feels stupid because she did not heed the words of those who tried to tell her about this man. She leaves this man and begins divorce proceedings. She hires a great lawyer because she has been the breadwinner since she had a career in the medical field and was making bank while her husband was gambling away his paycheck and relying on her to pay the bills. When the woman left this abusive man and filed for divorce, she thought that she had finally did the right thing. She was on her own, had bought herself a new car and had moved on with her life. But then, the unthinkable happened, one day, this woman was driving down the road taking her usual route and a huge rock came crashing through her car windshield, killing her instantly. Her car went out-of-control and zigzagged across the road, finally stopping against a barrier. There were no witnesses to this crime, just pieces put together from the crime scene and another motorist had called the police to state that a couple of rocks had struck their vehicle in that same area where this woman was killed.

There have been no other incidents like this since this woman who left her abusive husband was murdered. The abusive husband grew up with friends who had turned into hardened criminals who had been to prison for a multitude of crimes. And there are some who say that this was all just too much of a coincidence that yet another woman who was trying to leave this abusive man ends up dead since some believe that the only reason the first wife who divorced this abusive man is still alive is because she left the state and no one knew of her whereabouts for years. And none can forget that the first wife’s best friend, to this very day, is terrified of this man.

This man is now in possession of his dead wife’s Social Security, maybe her great pension and who knows what else since she was murdered before the divorce could be finalized and he certainly needs money seeing as how he has a very bad gambling problem. Is it coincidence; this seemingly random crime that occurred that killed this woman who was trying to divorce a man who has a known history of exhibiting violent behavior towards women? Who, but a close acquaintance would know a person’s schedule and habits? And why no more incidents of boulder like rocks being thrown at passing cars through a certain section of road just outside of Lynchburg? Will the crime of murder of this woman ever be solved?

The influencer and self-proclaimed image consultant, lifestyle coach, and dating expert died Thursday in Georgia.

The police report states they talked to a woman who said they met Kevin Wednesday night and spent the night with him at his place in Atlanta. The woman — who is a nurse — said Kevin started to complain of chest pains on Thursday morning, and she tried to help him. She told cops he fell on top of her, so she called 911 and requested a defibrillator from the front desk of the apartment complex.

Apparently, even Kevin Samuels heart got tired of beating to the tune of his insulting and offensive comments to Black women and simply refused to beat any more. So, dude was so vile that he had to resort to one-night stands and just so happened to have happened upon a nurse for his last bit of folly, but even that did him no good. That heart said, “Nurse or no nurse, I’m out!” Kevins Samuels’ demise gets no sympathy from me, nor any useless inane utterances of thoughts and prayers. For what? According to what I have heard about Samuels, he would have scoffed at those anyway.

One thing that I cannot understand is why it would seem that so many Black women even bothered to listen to this now deceased asshole. If someone was only spouting garbage about my lack of worth, I would certainly not continue to lend them an ear in which to receive such garbage. It would appear that even through these hard times, many Black women have too much time on their hands if they can sit up and listen, non-stop to an egomaniac and get all bent out of shape over what this disturbed individual had to say. And so thankfully, his heart refused to listen anymore and did what it did, quit on his ass. So now, he can fill the devil’s ears with his mindless, inane offensive drivel as he screeches as well while turning on a spit roasting in hell. Something will eventually put an end to the nonsense of puffed up nothings, who for whatever reason, obtained followers by the millions who paid his way. However, Atlanta is less one piece of shit black man. No loss there.

Black women, let no man define your worth. That is for you to do and as soon as you realize that you have no use for these ‘men’, the better off you’ll be. I wish someone had told me this long ago because I had to learn the hard way that only when I lived my life on my own terms and by myself did I do better in life than I ever did when a man was involved. Consider yourselves to be ‘high value women’ and you won’t feel the need to have a ‘man’ make you feel some type of way about yourself. Kamala Harris called herself, “Top Cop” when she was the top prosecutor in California and locked up broke Black mothers for their child’s truancy and laughed about it. Was against the legalization of weed, but is now for it. Seriously? She locked so many Black men up for misdemeanor drug crimes, it should have been a shame and then sent them out to fight wildfires when they had no formal training and many died. But that’s all kosher now, I suppose. So, it’s time to get out the balloons, confetti and believe that Biden/Harris are going to be what Trump was not. Not one Black person in America was under any delusions BEFORE Trump about racist whites and that those racist whites are not just the ones who march through the streets in sheets and hoods, but are in fact our doctors, lawyers, judges, bankers, CEOS of every single corporation and the list is endless. This did not just become problematic during the Trump Administration. Racism defines America; always has and always will. This Man Is A Fugitive From Justice And Law Enforcement Refuses To Apprehend Him. Listen As He Laughs About Strangling Women

The name of the fugitive is WALTER NELSON MILLS. I saw this on Youtube and started calling the Benton County Sheriff’s Office in Benton County Minnesota to let them know that a fugitive that is wanted on a FELONY NIGHTCAP WARRANT is living in Memphis,TN and has a MONETIZED Youtube channel and is laughing about “choking women until they can no longer breathe and that is how he can ignore them,” and so initiate an extradition treaty with the Memphis Fugitive Investigative Task Force, and they told me that they can only pick him up in Minnesota or surrounding states. I even called the Minnesota Governor’s office and apprised them of the situation and yet, the man still sits up on Youtube, still MONETIZED, living his life while he has been charged with serious felonies. He is wanted in TWO states; Minnesota AND Wisconsin. Benton County Sheriff’s Office told me that they can’t just knock down peoples’ doors and apprehend them. Uh…did they forget that that very thing happened to Breonna Taylor, but this thug, who laughs about strangling women gets the soft glove treatment? Not to mention, he goes ‘live’ in restaurants, does collabs with other Youtubers in restaurants and so no one has to knock down the door of a McDonald’s or a Captain D’s. GABBY PETITO UPDATES: Remains discovered ‘consistent with the description of Gabby,’ FBI says

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Authorities believe they have recovered the body of missing Long Island native Gabby Petito, who was reported missing earlier this month while on a cross-country van trip with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie.

Everyone is well aware that no expense was spared in finding Gabby Petito and that when she was found, she was found dead, strangled by her fiance. No expense was spared in finding who murdered her. What is the glaring difference in these two cases? One was WHITE and the other is Black.
