According To Trump, These People Are Out Of Luck Since His New Policy Favors Wealthier Immigrants

A few years ago, I published a blog that details the fact that countries only want immigrants who are highly skilled or who are wealthy or already have established family members who can help them.

No Country Wants The Dimwitted And The Poor!

Below is an excerpt of a speech given by President Barack Obama regarding immigration:

I’ll make it easier and faster for high-skilled immigrants, graduates, and entrepreneurs to stay and contribute to our economy, as so many business leaders have proposed.”

Huge Breaking News! Russia Adopts Simplified New Citizenship Law!
I frequently get asked how to move to Russia and especially how to obtain Russian citizenship. As the Western World’s crisis intensifies, as the upcoming uncertainty becomes more obvious, this question is more and more on people’s mind.

Moving to Russia is not a problem if you have a skill or talent Russians value and if you can obtain gainful employment where employer would vouch for you; if you open a business, which provides jobs and pays taxes; if you have certain material assets.

And so it continues!

Trump Policy Favors Wealthier Immigrants for Green Cards

Poor immigrants will be denied permanent legal status, also known as a green card, if they are deemed likely to use government benefit programs such as food stamps and subsidized housing. Wealthier immigrants, who are designated as less likely to require public assistance, will be able to obtain a green card.

Many countries already have this policy in place as in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Germany, The Bahamas and the list is endless. Every country, rock in the middle of the ocean or ant farm in the middle of nowhere wants proof of financial independence otherwise known as material assets which means that you have enough money to take care of your responsibilities and not live off the state. Also, all countries, other than the U.S. has a stipulation that you cannot take a job that a local can do. And we all know that the U.S. is loaded down with immigrants that have taken jobs that locals could do.

But as usual, I digress. Here are a group of people who are hell bent on coming to the U.S., but I don’t think that they are going to qualify for green cards under Trump’s new policy.

Stalled by pandemic, migrants press in quest for better life

LAJAS BLANCAS, Panama (AP) — Duperat Laurette fled Haiti after her country’s massive 2010 earthquake, making her way first to the Dominican Republic, then Chile and five years later to Panama, all with the dream of reaching the U.S. and finding a job to help support 14 siblings left behind in Haiti.

The coronavirus finally stopped her.

Panama, the slender bottleneck between the North and South American coninents, is a transit point for virtually every migrant heading from South America to the United States by land and it closed its borders on March 16 to halt the spread of COVID-19. The closure left nearly 2,000 migrants from Haiti and a handful of African and Asian countries stuck in camps in the jungle along Panama’s northern and southern borders.

Wait a minute! FOURTEEN SIBLINGS?? This person is trying to reach the U.S. to take a job from a local so that she can, not only support herself, but also support her FOURTEEN SIBLINGS LEFT BEHIND IN HAITI? Did ANYONE mention to those people the fact of BIRTH CONTROL? And what are the parents doing to support those children that they laid down and produced?? If she could NOT find a job in Haiti to support herself and FOURTEEN SIBLINGS and she could not find a job in the Dominican Republic to support herself and FOURTEEN SIBLINGS and she could not find a job in Chile to support herself and FOURTEEN SIBLINGS and she cannot find a job in Panama to support herself and FOURTEEN SIBLINGS, what makes her think that she can do that in the U.S.???!!! Does she know something that I don’t know? Look at ALL the places this woman has been searching for a job to support herself and FOURTEEN SIBLINGS and yet, she believes that the solution is to get to the U.S. Big ass face palm! 🤦‍♀️

So, thousands of ‘poor’ migrants, hopeful to eventually become U.S. citizens are stuck in Panama, sitting up in a Panamanian jungle waiting on COVID-19 lockdowns to be lifted so that they can continue their journey to the U.S. and do what? Sit up on our tax dollars like so many here are already doing which pisses me off to no end seeing as how American descendants of slavery are already the faces of the poverty stricken, homeless, food insecure, are lacking health care and have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 and also due to rampant, out-of-control immigration.

One woman featured in this article is talking about the fact that she needs surgery but could not get the surgery performed because the hospitals are overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients and even though the Panamanian government has offered her a free plane ride back to  Haiti where she was born, she has turned down their offers of assistance. Seriously??!!!!!

“The problem here is always that we have a lot of children, pregnant women,” said Bernadeau, another Haitian who arrived from Chile.

What???!!! “A lot of children, pregnant women?” Where are the fathers of these children and where are the men who impregnated these women? Where does the responsibility begin for those who choose to leave their place of birth to travel in search of the ability to live off the tax dollars of others while dragging their children with them especially when every country on this planet is experiencing a crisis and that is not going to let up any time soon? Seriously, these people need to educate themselves on the fact that many countries ONLY want immigrants who can take care of themselves and these people, clearly, cannot take care of themselves if they are sitting up in a jungle in Panama and have become so frustrated over the fact that they have taken to lighting shit on fire, to draw attention to their plight, I guess because the temperature in Panama today is 81°F. So nope, no one needed a fire. But take a look at this! Those migrants may be poor, but damn, they’ve got something even I don’t have. Looky! Looky!

Look at what the first woman sitting on the log is holding. What’s that? A ‘smartphone’? But she is too poor to afford food, etc., etc., but she sure as hell can make a phone call while sitting up in that Panamanian jungle. Where’s that cell tower located? And how is she paying her cellphone bill? But lo and behold, there is another smartphone sitting on top the can. They are in a jungle with a smartphone and a plan and I am in the U.S. and can’t afford a smartphone with a plan. The child in the lap has barrettes  in her hair and these folks are crying broke??? For the love of !!!!!

If the idea behind that picture was for us to feel sorry for them, then someone should have said, “Put away the smartphones!” Also, their clothing is matching for the most part; blue sandals, blue jean capris and a blue and white top, also the baby has a cute pinkish outfit on and the first woman’s shirt almost matches the back of her ‘smartphone’. So, I could be wrong. They actually could pass muster and eventually be allowed to enter America by showing their bank statements that would explain how they paid for those smartphones, plans, clothing and shoes.

If any migrants want to be considered too poor to piss straight, then I would suggest that before the picture is taken, make sure they look a bit more worse for wear because their hair is nicely done, but of course, they probably know how to braid, twist and cornrow to pieces.

Let’s see what this next picture highlights.

Do you see what I see?

Two people in the background have what looks like Apple earbuds in. But these people are supposed to be dirt poor migrants looking for a better life than what they are ‘escaping’ from. But they’ve got smartphones, cell plans to go with those smartphones and they are not raggedly dressed for ‘jungle living’. I guess they told the lady in the foreground to hide her smartphone because the goal is to make those people look as pitiful, hopeless, lost and in need of a new country to take advantage of. Well, it’s not working as far as I am concerned. I don’t even have a smartphone and I know a con when I see one.

More earbuds in the ear while sitting up in the Panamanian jungle. But she is broke, but has a smartphone and a cellphone plan. Really??!!!!

There was a lady in Minnesota who came up to me as I was on the phone talking with my cousin. She interrupts my conversation to tell me this, “Miss, I’m homeless. Could you spare some change, please?” I take one look at her. She has a smartphone in her hand with a beautiful case and matching clothes on and I’m like, “Are you serious??!! Get the hell out of my face with your lying ass!” I had to tell my cousin to hang on, that I had some business to take care of. I was about ready to fuck that lying bitch up because do NOT perpetrate a fraud because there are REAL homeless people out on the streets who do need help and they don’t need ‘pretenders’ to be out there making them look bad and that is exactly what that bitch was. I sent that bitch packing with a flea in her ear, that’s for damn sure. And so no, I am not buying this “poor, poor Haitian migrant” bullshit. If the Panamanian government has offered those assholes a free flight back to Haiti, then they need to drag their lying asses aboard that flight and get to fixing up their own shit in Haiti. We’ve got enough to contend with here. And if folks think that I have absolutely NOT a gnat’s ass worth of sympathy for those folks depicted here, it is because I don’t have a gnat’s ass worth of sympathy for them. I don’t have spare sympathy just lying around when American descendants of slavery need ALL of my sympathy and then some. There are enough damn “woe is me” motherfuckers sitting all up on our tax dollars already and IMMIGRATION IS HURTING THE U.S. WORKER!

Immigration Is Hurting The U.S. Worker

The United States needs fewer immigrants, not more. Lower levels of immigration, both legal and illegal make sense for my country because the growing number of under-educated people crossing our borders have hurt less educated native-born workers.

Of greater concern, the percentage of employed native-born without a high school degree fell from 53 to 48 percent in the last five years. African Americans have particularly been affected. A September 2006 National Bureau of Economic Research paper found that immigration accounted for about a third of the decline in the employment rate of the least-educated African American men over the last few decades.

The disproportionate flow of undereducated immigrants to the U.S. has also depressed wages for native-born workers on the lower rungs of the economic ladder. In the last two-and-a-half decades, average hourly wages for male workers with less than a high school education declined more than 20 percent relative to inflation. For those with only a high school degree they are down almost 10 percent.

Just as I thought. Those people who are supposedly sitting up in some Panamanian jungle would only add to OUR woes; ADOS woes. Like we need any more competition for jobs since we are ALWAYS the last to be hired and the first to be fired and now, we have to compete with an illegal immigrant  labor force as well as a legal immigrant labor force. Take your ass to Minnesota and see how many Somalis, Russians, Vietnamese, Laotians, Nigerians, Haitians and Ethiopians have taken jobs from American descendants of slavery since the whites over here allow that shit to happen. In fact, the whites encourage it and don’t even get me started on those who come here from Mexico. All I see in this dead ass burg are Mexicans and Hindus from India. They have taken over and yet, people want to screech about how we need to come together and not continuously be divided. Really???!!! Motherfuckers coming here to take my job and you want me to roll out the red carpet, engage in a group hug while singing “Kumbaya?” Not fucking going to happen, not with me! To hell with that shit! Those who are of MY lineage are getting fucked up, daily and someone wants to think that I have feelings for those who are helping that shit along? Who dropped you on your head? I will NEVER be FOR immigration and one thing I can say about that shit that ALL the rest of you Americans cannot say is that I am NOT from IMMIGRANTS, I am from SLAVES dragged the fuck over here! And it is no wonder that so many of you are FOR IMMIGRATION because that’s how the fuck YOU landed here. That’s NOT my history. That’s YOURS! So, of course, YOU don’t have a problem with IMMIGRATION because the only people who are NOT here ILLEGALLY are the Indians and DESCENDANTS OF SLAVERY because we did NOT come here WILLINGLY. So why the fuck should we care about some damn, supposedly, poor ass migrants trying to get here when it is quite obvious that we live worse than they do while they are ‘supposedly’, sitting somewhere in a Panamanian jungle with Apple earbuds hanging from their damn ears and talking about how poor and huddled they are when even the Panamanian government has tried to give those lying motherfuckers a free plane ride back to Haiti. They need to take it and shut the fuck up! The door to this shithole is goddamn CLOSED!

And so what am I supposed to say on THIS Labor Day that is seeing so many who look like me, UNEMPLOYED, while the focus is still on people who are trying to get in here, but who have no means by which to support themselves and that means a further drain on a system that was on life support, but now the plug has been pulled and people, mostly ADOS, are getting evicted despite the CDC’s moratorium on evictions? That don’t count for shit!

The Labor Day Blues!

For 30 years, I’ve punched that clock
and now on Labor Day, I get to take stock
of a life of labor that could end any day
and the sad fact is, I can’t pay my own way.

In the unemployment line, here I stand.
I’ve joined the ranks of the sad, holding out my hand,
not for a hand-out, because I’ve paid my dues.
So don’t give me no lip, walk a mile in my shoes!

How long will it take me to get back on my feet
and fulfill my obligations, I’ve deadlines to meet?

I’m out to pound the pavement ’cause winter won’t wait.
The lights must stay on and the rent cannot be late.

What a Labor Day it is here in every fucking city.
It’s not going well at all, Labor Day is kind of shitty!

So yeah, Happy Labor Day!

After watching the video, does it look like we could use more immigrants?

A poor Black homeless woman walking around the Baltimore Inner Harbor at night. I took this picture long before COVID entered the picture. Do we really need more immigrants?

And another one!

Here is another poor homeless Black man sitting in a wheelchair. If there is no housing for him, do we really need more immigrants? This poor man is sitting up in a WHEELCHAIR and cannot get housing, but we’ve got the funds for some ‘broke’ folks from Haiti and elsewhere? Hell if we do!

And another one!

Another homeless man in Baltimore.

So no, we don’t already have enough problems without adding more to the equation, do we?

Take your poor, huddled asses somewhere else! We are filled to bursting already!

Labor Day For The Unemployed!

At the risk of repeating myself, I repeat myself.

“Happy Labor Day! Now Here’s Your Pink Slip!”

Revel starts shutdown Monday after just 2 years

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — The most spectacular and costly failure in Atlantic City’s 36-year history of casino gambling begins to play out Monday when the $2.4 billion Revel Casino Hotel empties its hotel.

Revel is shutting down a little over two years after opening with high hopes of revitalizing Atlantic City’s struggling gambling market.

Revel will be the second of three Atlantic City casinos to close in a two-week span. The Showboat Casino Hotel closed its doors Sunday, and Trump Plaza is closing Sept. 16.

Now, as you can see, I posted this back in 2014 when Atlantic City casinos were shuttering their doors in unprecedented numbers and here we go again. In October, yet another ‘Trump’ casino will close its doors, putting thousands of Atlantic city residents out-of-work. So, I say, “Happy Labor Day! Now, here’s your pink slip!”

What a wonderful way to celebrate a tribute to workers; give them a pink slip and tell them to file for unemployment because even though this casino is no longer affiliated with Donald Trump, it still bears HIS name and so in essence, Trump is still playing the game, “You’re Fired!” America, have you no clue how ‘fired’ you are going to be if Trump descends to the presidency? This man has made billions by investing fake money into real estate schemes that bear his name and then when the business starts to go belly up, why he sucks everything out of it in bankruptcy proceedings, thus leaving the rank-and-file to pick up the pieces of their lives, the best way they can. Correct me if I am wrong, but how many of us could continuously get away with filing bankruptcy after bankruptcy and then proceed to amass fortune after fortune off just our name and abscond with the profits when the shit hits the fan and then off to another profitable venture, we go? Not a damn one of us and that’s for sure!

And Americans have the nerve to wonder why they are fucked up? Don’t wonder. Just look around at who continues to thumb their billions in your face while you land on your face after having worked your ass off for decades; only to be thrown out like yesterday’s stinking garbage.

Trump Taj Mahal closing would further darken A.C.’s South Inlet
The announced closing of Taj Mahal came shortly after one of Atlantic City’s biggest successes in the past two years — the reopening of Showboat in July.

Straub is still in the process of trying to get Revel reopened.

“It’s two steps forward, three steps backwards,” said Richard Perniciaro, director of the Center for Regional and Business Research at Atlantic Cape Community College.

Perniciaro said the proposed closing of the Taj combined with the pending referendum on casinos in North Jersey in November could discourage residential and commercial investment in the resort.

The Taj Mahal has gone through five(5) bankruptcy proceedings; that’s FIVE! And get this, the employees who had a stake in the success of this casino have lost their health benefits and their pension and so does anyone wonder why statistics state that Atlantic City, NJ has one of the nation’s highest foreclosure rates? And yet, ‘white’ male vultures with loads of money are waiting in the wings to snatch up the property of the soon-to-be former workers of the Taj Mahal casino. And we don’t need a revolution? Where are these people going to live? Have you visited Atlantic City lately? I was there in 2013 and I can tellya, it was like nothing I had ever seen. People were coming up to me on the boardwalk, yelling in my face to, “Give me a dollar!” I had to produce my stun gun, pepper spray to send them running. When I was heading into a liquor store right off the boardwalk, women were standing in font of the liquor store, shoving their children up to strangers to get them to beg for money as they entered and exited the liquor store. The salesclerk stated that it is a huge problem, but what can they do because as soon as they shoo them away, they come right back. I can only imagine what it is like now, because that was before the recent shuttering of many casino doors. Crime has got to be off the charts. Homelessness, we know is off the charts because with foreclosure rates skyrocketing, where are those people who once had homes, living? Right! In a box.

This is what this country is descending into; a nation of abject poverty stricken people with no means, no jobs and no hope and here we have two candidates for president that are the epitome of hopelessness for the masses. We have a candidate that has filed bankruptcy more times than I can count and who deliberately goes about attempting to stir up racists and bigots while on the other hand, we have ‘Pantsuits Warmonger Killar E. Clinton’ who never saw a drone it didn’t like and is itching to be the commander-in-chief to continue to provoke the Russians and the Chinese into war.

But we are about to celebrate Labor Day? For real? Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit! And yet, I cannot help but think that the poem I wrote for Labor Day 2014 is just as relevant now as it was then. Enjoy!

casinos closed

Happy Labor Day to the employees of the casino/hotels that have shuttered their doors, are shuttering their doors and will soon shutter their doors. Now ain’t that a bitch? Winter in New Jersey without a goddamn job, fucking wow! Winter anywhere without a goddamn job would be a bitch to get through.

I could have given the owners of the Revel a bit of advice when I was in New Jersey. The people who give the casinos the majority of their business are seniors and people who avidly play the lottery. Yes, the high rollers gamble, but their numbers are far outranked by the average run-of-the-mill gambler. Revel was built for show. It was touted as an expensive hotel and not really as a casino except as an afterthought and a high-priced hotel it was, even by Atlantic City standards. How many seniors and lottery players could afford pricey digs and nowhere to smoke when the money’s running out and the only thing left to do is wait for the bus to take your broke ass back home? Many of the regulars knew each other. It was like a little club. When Revel first opened, the hotel had a ‘No Smoking’ policy. Empty rooms and an empty casino put paid to that but it was too late. Revel wanted a high-class clientele and now, it’s got no clientele and who gets the shaft? Why, the usual suspects of course, Revel’s employees.

Who would have thought that a hotel/casino that cost over $2billion would be closing in two years? I did! When I was in Atlantic City back in 2006, the changes that had taken place from the many years before were just unbelievable. The stores that catered to low-income and middle class people had ‘gone with the wind’.

Back in the ’90s, The Pier Shops at Caesars competed for the low income to middle class with dollar stores, Payless shoe stores, McDonald’s, inexpensive jewelry stores and the like. Then someone came up with the bright idea to close those stores and open up new high-end stores to bring in a ‘better’ clientele. Pier Shops was closed and the interior was gutted to make way for Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Armani, Michael Kors & Tommy Bahama, and many more of that caliber. McDonald’s and other inexpensive eateries were replaced with fine dining restaurants that served only the freshest seafood, unique culinary creations, Atlantic City’s best sushi and decadent desserts and of course, this was designed to cater to the upper echelons of society. Granny with her pension and her SSA check were pushed aside. To make matters worse, The Great Recession with the resulting credit crunch would later adversely impact millions of potential Atlantic City gamblers, not to mention that other states approved gambling and that meant that many people who used to board buses to head to Atlantic City now had the opportunity to gamble in their own backyard. No more waiting on a bus, and a 4-6 hour bus trip each way to Atlantic City. The decline of Atlantic City’s casino market has long been in the making. Add to that, Atlantic City never attempted to distribute any of the tax revenue from gambling into communities beyond the boardwalk. Just two blocks from the boardwalk, urban blight is glaringly obvious. Homeless panhandlers are ever present. People with small children stand in front of liquor stores and propel their children forward to beg people for change. Crime is rampant.

The point that I am trying to make is that at one time, before abject greed and avarice took Atlantic City completely over and the fact of other states allowing casinos to be built, Atlantic City was THE destination for the gambler. And now that the state of Maryland has legalized gambling and opened casinos, that further puts paid to Atlantic City’s glory days as Gambling Central. And so it’s come to this, the closing of newly opened casinos and the closing of casinos that were still making a profit(The Showboat)and the thousands of pink slips handed out to long time employees of Atlantic City’s gaming industry.

It never fails, just when the holiday season is approaching, people are given the old ‘heave-ho’. Over 5,000 people are set to lose their jobs by tomorrow and when Trump Plaza closes on September 16th, 2014, increase that number to over 8,000.

Happy Labor Day, everyone! Ain’t it a grand day to get a pink slip today?
