Why I Did NOT ‘Celebrate’ Juneteenth

 

 

So, what exactly is Juneteenth?

Juneteenth

a holiday celebrated on 19 June to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, slaves were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation.

What does emancipation mean?

So when you look at why Juneteenth is celebrated and you look at what emancipation means, tell me, American Descendants of Slavery, how are you free, liberated, unshackled, unyoked, uncaged, unbridled and unfettered?

When the protesters were in Minneapolis going the fuck off, those who are descendants of the racist shits that enslaved our ancestors were busy spying on the mostly Black protesters via drones, spy planes and spy helicopters in order to arrest people who were supposedly, liberated. But we know that we are not liberated because the protesters were protesting because a Black man was detained and murdered for no reason. So, what were you celebrating on Juneteenth? That you enjoy enslavement? That you enjoy being spied on by the same government that dragged your ancestors here to become slaves for them? Did you celebrate Juneteenth because the whites are championing that day as though there is some meaning to it for us because if you are, then you are so stupid that you could actually be made to believe that shit don’t stink.

As long as the whites are telling you to ‘celebrate’ some bullshit, why…there you go. When the whites tell you to celebrate Black History Month…well, there you go. When the whites tell you to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Day…why there you go. Those days have no meaning for us. Those days are the whites’ way of saying, “Look, I’ve given you much to celebrate. Now go out and buy shit and shut the hell up because that is all that we owe you. Fuck reparations. You’ll get a few days in which to celebrate what you think are freedoms.” And you know what, most of us do just that. You accept so little and will rejoice over a turd handed to you, especially if you are being told that that turd has special significance to you.

Whites are flaming liars, thieves, criminals and murderers; that’s what they’ve always been and that’s what they always will be. You cannot expect whites to do shit that would make a gnat’s ass worth of real difference in your life. They will talk shit to you and hope that you continue to buy it and eat it and you do and so why would they feel pressured to actually do anything of substance; anything of meaning? They wouldn’t.

When you celebrated Juneteenth, did it put any money into your pocket? Did it give you health insurance? Did it cure your diabetes since you have diabetes because of poor diet because you work minimum wage jobs and cannot afford the proper foods with nutrients needed for a healthy body? Did it move you out of a crime infested neighborhood that is wracked with gang violence? Did it close down the liquor store in your neighborhood owned by a foreigner brought over here for the express purpose of further reducing your time spent on this planet above ground? Did celebrating Juneteenth get the bank to approve a home loan for you? Did celebrating Juneteenth get you approved for an apartment in a nice section of town? Did celebrating Juneteenth get you into college? What was the purpose of you celebrating Juneteenth? There was none and the whites know this. The purpose of you celebrating Juneteenth was all for the whites. It had absolutely nothing to do with you since the whites know that whatever bone they toss you, you will run with it, be thankful for it and don’t question why the whites are hyping up some piece of shit ‘day of emancipation’ that never took place, because make no mistake, we are still slaves. We are still slaves in every way.

Look around you. What group in this country is in the worst possible condition? The group that was hellbent on celebrating Juneteenth, that’s who. What the fuck do you have to celebrate? American descendants of slavery are the poster children for homelessness, income inequality, mass incarceration, abject hunger, childhood poverty, high school drop-out rates out of the ballpark, inadequate or no health care, high mortality rates for Black women, babies and children and for both Black men and women, high mortality rates from being murdered by cops. And statistically speaking, we are at the bottom, economically and so disadvantaged, it has been stated that Black household wealth stands at $7.00. We have no real and true wealth; no tangible and intangible assets.

But that was not always the case. Whites destroyed everything we ever built for ourselves, from our homes to our institutions to our movements and so why do you think that they have no problem with us ‘celebrating’ Juneteenth, Black History Month and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Day? It is because that is ALL we are to have. And for most of you, that seems to be enough!

And yet, when the protests were raging, all we heard from the whites and from the Black misleaders was, “Look! They are burning down their own neighborhoods!” What fucking neighborhoods do we own? Black people don’t own shit! The lone Black barbershop on the corner is nothing to screech about because, HELL! In Baltimore, MD, Black people have taken to doing curbside barbering. Those goddamn foreigners that the whites have over here on expired visas own that shit that was burned to the ground. If you look at the news out of Minneapolis, there was some Somali man standing there talking about how he owned this and that and was going to help the burned out community. SERIOUSLY??!! How did his tree climbing ass, crawl down from a tree in Somalia, fly the fuck over here and own some damn businesses when Black people, who were born here and are descendants of slaves, have to operate a ‘curbside’ barbershop and yet the whites and the Black misleaders want to exclaim that we are burning down our own damn businesses? What businesses? Yeah! Go do your research and get back to me on that. American descendants of slavery are doing so poorly because it is by design. Whites know why! And they intend on keeping that status quo the same for why else is every other group that comes over here, given every advantage in the world to build up shit, while our shit gets torn down by the whites who spy on us, constantly? They spy on us to make sure that we don’t get any ideas that we are ever going to get ahead because they make damn sure that they nip that shit in the bud before it can even get off the goddamn ground.

But we can happily celebrate Juneteenth because it does NOTHING for us! It is not supposed to, but we are satisfied because Amerikkka, this fucking year, celebrated Juneteenth with us. Ain’t that some shit??!! Indeed, it was!

Time To Celebrate Black History Month AGAIN! Yeah, We Got It Going On!

Black History Holds NO Fame!

*June 25th 2013, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a key provision of the Voting Rights Act, removing a critical tool to combat racial discrimination in voting.

Where shall we begin? Let us celebrate the 11% unemployment rate for Black men even though the national unemployment aka jobless rate stands at 3.7% and if your head’s not stuck up your ass, then you know that even that is a damn lie! Break out the champagne Black folks for those of you who can afford a bottle of say, Andre Cold Duck! Clink those plastic cups together and then piss in the wind because it’s all blowing back your way anyway; the shit that keeps hitting the fan, that is.

Next on our celebration list is the shit that is going down in our public education system better known as the ‘school-to-prison pipeline’ if you’re a student of color in these here United States of America where we celebrate Black History Month each and every February. This month is dedicated to showcasing the achievements of Black people in America. We are celebrating each and every single achievement that has not yet occurred but will eventually occur and we are real sure of this happening any day now.

To continue the celebrations, let us look at the child poverty statistics that are sure to impress us during these celebrations of future achievements that we are hell bent on celebrating this month. We are celebrating the fact that ‘child poverty in America is at its highest point in 20 years, putting millions of children at increased risk of injuries, infant mortality, and premature death’. And if that isn’t bad enough, ‘7 million kids still don’t have health insurance’. This is just so worth celebrating, what an achievement! What a dream as opposed to a nightmare. I wonder what that famous man who had a dream, would think of this. I seriously wonder.

But wait! There is more to celebrate this Black History Month! The good news just keeps on coming. ‘Incarceration rate for African-Americans now six times the national average’ is still making headlines among Black prisoners and their mostly white guards and the white slave patrol that arrested them for say, selling loose, un-taxed cigarettes, selling marijuana or crack while completely ignoring the white man that was buying said crack and marijuana from the guilty by birth African-American other wise known as Colored otherwise known as Black otherwise known as felon or prisoner no.1,000,034. White folks, why don’t you just lock up every single Black person at birth? It’ll save you the trouble of doing so later on since many of us will know what it feels like to be shackled just as those we are descended from knew what it felt like. And the beat goes on and we celebrate it.

And ‘here’s the Data That Shows Cops Kill Black People at a Higher Rate Than White People’, now ain’t that a bitch?! Unfortunately, Michael Brown is not here to celebrate this Black History Month with us because he was shot and killed by a cop. Twelve year old Tamir Rice is also not here this year to help us celebrate because he was shot and killed by a cop while playing with a toy gun in a park. John Crawford, likewise, is not here to celebrate because he was shot and killed by a cop in Wal-Mart while holding a toy gun.  Eric Garner, unfortunately, for him, was selling loose, untaxed cigarettes and that cost him his life and so he will not be joining in the celebrations. Terrance Franklin was shot and killed by cops following a traffic stop and he will not be celebrating ether. Seven year-old Aiyana Stanley-Jones was shot  and killed by a cop while she slept and the charge of manslaughter against the cop that shot and killed her was dropped and so, she is not just ‘under-the-weather’, she is underground and therefore, is not able to celebrate this historic month. Let us celebrate on her behalf. Sandra Bland is not here to celebrate with us because she was hanged in a Texas jail cell. So many are not here to witness all of the achievements that we celebrate today that have not as yet occurred. But we are sure that any minute now, we shall achieve….something. Yeah! Wait on it.

Fortunately, I have found yet another statistic that gives us even more of a reason to celebrate Black history month. Black families are seven times more likely to be homeless. We have come so far this February in the year of our Lord 2020, have we not? Blacks make up half of the U.S. homeless population. Doesn’t that just give you a warm and comfortable, cozy feeling that those homeless people lack? These are achievements that we have here folks! Time to celebrate and to keep the momentum going. Our ancestors would be so proud of where we are today. Don’t you think? Does this not make you aware that BLACK LIVES DO NOT MATTER?!

Now, on the other hand, Tyler Perry will dress up in drag and put some Black folks to work on another Madea movie and Beyoncé will croon about a Halo for Jay-Z and Jay-Z will rap about niggas while DMX will head back to prison for drug possession, get out on probation again and then go right back in for drug possession. Viola Davis will have no problem getting cast as yet another maid after her role in ‘The Help’ and Forest Whitaker is probably all set to play yet another version of someone’s Butler since every one is well aware that us Black folks are so good at bowing and scraping and being subservient to our ‘betters’.

Finally, I’ve given you many reasons to celebrate this month. The reasons are endless and our achievements that we will watch for some time in the future are making life much better for so many of us and that is why we must enjoy this Black History Month. We have no need to march and protest like those Black people in the 1960s did. We are so past that in this here post-racial America. I mean, what we have here is a post-racial America, is it not? But nevertheless, Dr. King would be so proud as would his stalwart, fellow marchers-in-arms at the progress that we have made since his infamous, I Have A Dream speech. We shall overcome! Uh…what I meant to say is that, “We did overcome!” Now like the good little sheep you are, start celebrating all of this shit!! And look ahead to when the REAL achievements will come because surely they must come!

 

“This Ain’t Wakanda!”

So, to ALL the Black folks who spent your money on African garb and headdresses, paid a mint for popcorn and sodas and nacho cheese chips and Hershey bars and Nestle bars, and who left the movie theater after viewing “Black Panther” screaming, “Wakanda Forever!,”when you got back to the ‘hood’, that’s not yet gentrified, and you stepped on used syringe needles of Black heroin addicts and gazed upon the used condoms of johns that frequent drug-addicted prostitutes and when you got shot in the ass after having been caught in the crossfires of gang shootouts over drug turf, did “Black Panther” come down off that movie screen upon hearing you scream, “Wakanda Forever?”

There is no goddamn Wakanda! There never has been a Wakanda and there never will be a Wakanda. The only thing that’s going down over in Africa is the same shit that’s going down in America; the entire continent of Africa is owned by white men, the same as our asses in AmeriKKKa are owned by white men. And for Black folks to sit somewhere on your stupid asses getting all hyped up about some fiction shit when horrifying REAL shit is going down every day in Black ghettos and in prisons where almost 3 million Black men and women are slaving away for corporations, is just beyond ridiculous! I can only shake my head over the continuation of your cluelessness, ignorance and willingness to be made a fool of, daily!

There is no fake ass Disney Black Panther coming to save you from mass incarceration, police brutality, police murder of Blacks, gentrification, a school-to-prison pipeline, mass poverty, mass homelessness, income inequality, home foreclosures, sky-rocketing rents, poisoned water, water-shutoffs and the goddamn list is endless. But there you sit, proudly shouting and screaming with your fake ass African costumes on about some made up African kingdom while your son sits beside you, looking up at your awestruck gaze and at the foolishness on the screen and wondering why he does not live in “Wakanda!” You’re not even a “Black Panther” to your own children because when they head home, they get the video games out and to hell with homework for if not, then why is the school drop out rate for Black children so high? Is screaming for “Wakanda” going to help out with this?

With a goddamn flaming, racist, bigoted president that’s called all African countries AND Haiti, “Shitholes!” where the hell do you think you stand in this particular shithole? But “Wakanda!” to the rescue, right? Disney’s “Black Panther!” to the rescue, right? Some of you Black folks are dumber than a goddamn horse and that’s putting it mildly. Skinhead groups are gaining members daily. This president backs them up while you are sitting in a theater gazing avidly at a fictional kingdom in Africa when even if you was to drag your ass back to Africa, those Africans wouldn’t spit on you to put a fire out on your ass. In all these centuries past, when has an African country made a statement condemning the fact that Africans allowed other Africans to be stolen from that region? When has there ever been a call from any ‘kingdom’ in Africa for all of descendants of African slaves to come back to the glories of the motherland to be welcomed into the fold? Not ever! There are no African kingdoms. There are only corrupt African leaders in every region in Africa who are still selling out their own people just like in days of old. That is why our Black asses are sitting here looking at a goddamn stupid ass movie that in no way even pretends to depict just what the hell really is going on in Africa.

Black people always have to be entertained. You will spend your money on anything that will entertain you or to make you up to look as much like your oppressors as you can. Fake ass European hair weaves, fake ass braids, fake ass wigs, fake ass nails, fake ass makeup. That is all Black people are about, fake ass shit and fantasy while the rest of the world is fully cognizant of their plight while we want to be entertained. We want to believe that we are doing something by donning a dashiki with an African headdress and running inside a theater to look at more fake ass shit! We will even take up some holiday, talking about we’re celebrating Kwanzaa. What the fuck does Kwanzaa have to do with you? You’re fucking not African! Ever with the pretense that your history began in Africa. Your history begins with your own family here in AmeriKKKa. You can’t even manage to love the members of your own immediate family but yet, you want to get DNA tests done to see which fucking tribe you belong to in a land that lays no claim to your ass. How stupid is that? And what are you going to do if you find out that someone in your ancestral tree came from the Congo? Go over there and get raped, brutalized and terrorized like those women and  children who live in the Congo?

Yeah! That’s “Wakanda,” ain’t it? Did you read that? Even OLD WOMEN are not safe from being raped, brutalized and tortured. But your African head wrap and dashiki enables you to share their pain, doesn’t it? But they’re not supposed to be treated like that since they are living in “Wakanda!” being protected by their king, the “Black Panther” according to your dumb, stupid ass and Walt Disney Pictures!

“Decades of civil war before South Sudan became a nation and continuing to the present have left it one of the poorest countries in the world. Wracked by conflict, the young nation hasn’t been able to provide its people the basics of adequate healthcare, education, and income opportunities. Children are paying the price with their lives.

More than 5.7 million South Sudanese don’t have enough food to sustain themselves, and food insecurity continues to rise, likely reaching 6 million mid-2018. Nearly 4 million people are displaced because of conflict and hunger, including 2 million who have fled to neighboring countries since December 2013. Uganda hosts more than 1 million refugees from South Sudan; 60 percent of the displaced are children.”

This child in South Sudan wants to know “Where is Black Panther?” And where is “Wakanda?”

And I suppose, that’s also, “Wakanda?” It is quite apparent that I could continue in this vein, but the point should be well made. There is nothing for any Black person to feel ‘good’ about after having watched “Black Panther.” Let me ask you something. Did you Black men dress up like Tyler Perry did in all of his “Madea” movies when you went to watch them? Did you dress in drag to go see, say, “Madea Goes To Jail?” But for some strange ass reason, the whites release a movie about a non-existent kingdom in Africa where some supposed super hero is king and there you go, completely outfitted as though you, yourselves are royalty from a rich kingdom in Africa when you’re nothing more than weak, punk ass bitches who can’t even tell when you’re being used. How much of your money that you just gave over to see Black Panther will make it into the hands of Black people within their few remaining communities? NONE! Because Black people, even while living in their few remaining communities are still handing their money over to the Koreans, the Pakistanis, the Chinese, the whites; every one else but to another Black person.

I just recently moved from Baltimore, MD and I can tell you from first hand experience that there is no sign of “Wakanda Forever!” going on all up in Baltimore, MD. There is, however, plenty of heroin and crack addicts. There are plenty of Black people nodding on methadone. There are plenty who are mentally ill and homeless. There are plenty who have been shot by the cops and who actually survived, but who are wheel-chair bound and still full of bullets they’ll eventually die from. There are so many gangs, they’ve lost count. Baltimore recorded 343 homicides last year. Was this due to “Black Panther” coming in and ridding Baltimore of all the bad cops and bad, bad whitey? Hell no! These shootings were all about Black men shooting each other to death over drug turf or other Black people shooting each other just for the hell of it. One Black woman, who did not live in a kingdom, but lived in a housing project, was shot dead by a teenager simply because she called the police to stop this particular teenager from stealing her child’s bike, AGAIN! The Black teen shot this mother in her face, in front of her children, and calmly walked away. “Wakanda Forever!” Buy your dashikis here! If it were not so ridiculously sad, it would be funny to picture the lot of you sitting up in a theater looking as stupid as you could possibly look in your dashikis and African head wraps. I can only imagine since I will never be foolish enough to sit alongside you as you display your ignorance for all to see. Black folks, I don’t know why, but you continue to amaze me over how you are not even embarrassed at how stupid you really are, especially the so-called, adults!

This is Baltimore’s “Wakanda!” What a rich looking kingdom to be proud of, that is!

Black people, just keep on heading in the direction that you are heading in and you will find something alright, but believe me, the last thing you will find is “Black Panther” coming to save you and take you to “Wakanda Forever!” Every single day, you have less and less to lose and yet, you never gain any knowledge from your losses. More’s the goddamn pity!

“Black People, Please Take Your Children To See The New ‘Black Panther’ Movie For Black History Month!”

 

First of all, let me start off by saying that this movie would NOT be in theaters this month if it were based on the REAL Black Panthers.

The Black Panthers, also known as the Black Panther Party, was a political organization founded in 1966 by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale to challenge police brutality against the African American community. Dressed in black berets and black leather jackets, the Black Panthers organized armed citizen patrols of Oakland and other U.S. cities. At its peak in 1968, the Black Panther Party had roughly 2,000 members. The organization later declined as a result of internal tensions, deadly shootouts and FBI counterintelligence activities aimed at weakening the organization.

The Black Panthers were not solely focused on violence. One notable program was Free Breakfast for Children. They fed as many as 20,000 children in the 1968-69 school year. This was portrayed by detractors as a propaganda and recruitment tool, as the children were taught party messages and ideology during the meals.

As I re-read the above paragraphs, what strikes me is this: “The Black Panthers were not solely focused on violence.” I don’t even know what that means because in order to fight against racism, hate groups and a government that is hell bent on our annihilation, how could it be otherwise? Non-violence did not work because if it did, the man who history lauds as one of the most peace-loving men to have ever lived would have lived out his natural life instead of having been assassinated and we all know who I am referring to; Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. That man tried in every way possible to bring about change, peacefully and what did he get for his efforts, he got an assassin’s bullet, that’s what he got for drawing attention to the plight of slaves in America. That’s right, I said, “Slaves!” Because that is what we all are and aren’t we reminded of it every single day.

Slaves make up only 13% of the population count in America and yet in 2014, slaves represented 34% of the prison population in America and that number is worse today.

Nationwide, Black children represent 32% of children who are arrested, 42% of children who are detained, and 52% of children whose cases are judicially waived to criminal court.

For as long as the government has kept track, the economic statistics have shown a troubling racial gap. Black people are twice as likely as white people to be out of work and looking for a job. This fact was as true in 1954 as it is today.

The most recent report puts the white unemployment rate at around 4.5 percent. The black unemployment rate? About 8.8 percent.

But the economic picture for slaves is far worse than those statistics indicate. The unemployment rate only measures people who are both living at home and actively looking for a job.

What do you think would happen if the unemployment rate for Black people included those who are incarcerated? Add in those who are incarcerated and the unemployment figures for Black men jumps to 18.6%.

The Black Panthers knew that there was no peaceful way to go about effecting change because those who made up the Black Panthers, had themselves been victims of white oppression as we are today. We only have the illusion of freedom because at any given moment, each of us could be killed for no reason whatsoever and this has been playing out on city streets all across America. The slave patrols are decked out in blue and brown uniforms and have been given legal authority by the government of America to round us up whenever it pleases them to do so. Some of us are actually locked inside cages, but those of us who are not actually IN a cage are just as caged. Go into the ‘wrong’ neighborhood and find out how free you are. Protest the murder of another slave for too long and see how fast Gestapo pigs are called out to initiate a curfew to get you off the streets and locked in at night because when you burn down the white man’s means by which he makes a profit, you see just how much a slave, you still are. Get sick and walk in the doors of a hospital seeking help and they will show you that a sick slave is of no use to them, here, and here.

So yes, it is most important that you, as adult slaves, take your children to see this new Black Panther movie that is set to come out in theaters everywhere during this celebration of Slave History Month. Continue to promote the ideals behind slavery, racism, bigotry, Jim Crow, mass incarceration, income inequality, mass homelessness, gentrification, a school-to-prison pipeline, low educational attainment, mass poverty and government sanctioned murder by cop because you are indeed promoting all of the aforementioned especially seeing as how this movie is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. And in order to understand how racist Walt Disney was is to read about Walt Disney.

The charge: Walt Disney was racist.
The evidence: These charges stem primarily from the use of racial stereotypes in Disney movies from the 40s: Dumbo’s black crows; Fantasia’s black servant centaurette; and Song of the South, a movie so offensive that the Disney company will no longer let it be seen in public. Then there is Walt Disney’s own behavior: Gabler cites a meeting in which Disney referred to the Snow White dwarves as a “nigger pile” and another in which he used the term “pickaninny.” The book notes that Disney anticipated the Song of the South controversy and attempted to make it less racist with a rewrite and meeting with the NAACP. The meeting never happened, and the movie was released anyway. There was also some controversy about the company’s unwillingness to hire minorities at Disneyland.

I see that I’ve got to change a few words, Slaves, take your “nigger piles,” your “pickanninies” to see Walt Disney’s Black Panther and while you’re there ask the theater to beg the Disney Corporation to re-release the movie, “Song of the South,” so that you can then return and view how happy and helpful slaves were to white folks when we were still needed to pick cotton, cook and clean for them and lie down with them upon demand.

This blog post is a direct result of another blog I read about how Black children should see this movie, “Black Panther” because it will show them that there were great Black kingdoms and it will show them that Black people can have super powers and everything will just be great. Seriously???!! So these Black pickanninies, once they’ve looked at this movie, will leave the theater thinking that they have the ability to fly to freedom, to escape poverty, to get into a leaky boat and head to some great Black kingdom, to understand that the reason their daddy, uncle and cousin is incarcerated is because they just refused to use their super powers to escape incarceration in a land where they will never be free, whether caged or not. Yes, give your pickanninies the illusion of “Black Panther,” produced and released by the same company that lovingly gave us “Song of the South.”

By viewing “Black Panther,” our pickanninies will celebrate Slave History Month like it should be celebrated. We will continue to enrich the coffers of our slave owners just as we’ve always done. We may no longer cook all Massa’s meals, we may no longer pick his cotton, we may no longer tend his fields from sunup to sundown, but by god, we shall surely give our hard-earned pennies to him during this month that he has set aside for us to celebrate his benevolence towards us by putting together a movie starring many who look like us and who are from a fake kingdom when the truth of the matter is this movie is not far off its mark because there truly was a kingdom and our ancestors resided there, but the Walt Disneys of this world saw an opportunity in your ancestors and so they took them, they took them to enrich themselves and you are a product of that enrichment and you are still enriching them today. Oh, I am pretty sure that it was just a major coincidence that “Black Panther” is coming out just in time for Black History Month, I am that naïve.

I am so very sorry that the strong Black people of yesteryear are no longer with us because the women of the Civil Rights Movement would not be taking their children to see a movie that will be released by the very same company that released “Song of the South.” Their children would take part in a boycott of this movie just as they took part in the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

The Montgomery Bus Boycott was a civil-rights protest during which African Americans refused to ride city buses in Montgomery, Alabama, to protest segregated seating. The boycott took place from December 5, 1955, to December 20, 1956, and is regarded as the first large-scale U.S. demonstration against segregation.

The Women’s Political Council (WPC), a group of black women working for civil rights, began circulating flyers calling for a boycott of the bus system on December 5, the day Parks would be tried in municipal court.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the Black women and men of his day, showed us all how to stick it to the white man; one word, BOYCOTT! And that is just something we have never been willing to continue because a movie is more important than mass incarceration, massive unemployment, income inequality, gentrification, mass homelessness, food insecurity, poverty, gangs, drugs and crime in ‘Black’ communities, inequality in health care, brain developmental problems in our children due to lead paint poisoning and yet, we are going to celebrate all of this by watching a movie because we just want a two-hour break from our reality and right afterwards, we will continue to piss and moan and whine about why we are still, slaves, and  treated as such. Ask your cousin Terrell if they are showing this movie in the prison he’s serving a 30-year sentence in for having on his person, a dime bag of weed. Ask your niece, Lakeisha if they’ll be showing “Black Panther” at the prison she is serving time at because she was arrested for prostitution and drug possession; drugs to feed her crack habit. Yeah! Ask them! And then go to the affluent suburbs of Atlanta and see how white affluent heroin addicts are treated. They’ll not be rubbing shoulders with Lakeisha since affluent white addicts that have engaged in prostitution to feed their habit are sent to rehab for as many times as it takes to get them back on the road to recovery. Meanwhile, Lakeisha sits inside a prison slaving away for pennies sewing shirts and pants for corporations because you see, she is inside a ‘For Profit Prison’ and when she goes to shower, some white male prison guard is watching her and then is making her perform sex acts on him and he is raping her. But by going to see “Black Panther,” we are doing her a world of good, just as we are also doing the Black man that’s doing time and submitting to homosexual acts, just as much good because when he gets out, his wife or girlfriend is going to understand what it means to have AIDS!

And don’t forget the popcorn as you sit back, relax and enjoy “Black Panther,” the movie.

America’s unspeakable problem: Whites Speaking on ‘African-American’s Crime Rates

 

I was reading a post of a fellow blogger that I follow and this caption caught my eye:

Breitbart is not the kind of news service I rely on, but occasionally even a blind squirrel finds a nut, as in this Nov 2015 story by Jerome Hudson: “5 Devastating Facts About Black-on-Black Crime“.

“In 2012, white males were 38% of the population and committed 4,582 murders. That same year, black males were just 6.6% of the population but committed a staggering 5,531 murders. In other words: black people -– at just a fifth of the size — committed almost 1,000 more murders than their white counterparts.

“The figures above highlight a horrific truth that black racialists and white liberals routinely ignore: Lawbreaking black Americans, young black males particularly, put themselves in close proximity to (mostly white male) police officers at rates sometimes five to 10 times higher than whites.

So yeah, I am going to go to Breitbart when I want fair and balanced reporting especially when that reporting is on descendants of slaves in America.

First of all, right out of the gate, you are wrong because an African-American is an African who immigrated to America, took a Naturalization test and gained his citizenship. Voila! African-American. That is not us. We are not African-Americans. I was not born in Africa and immigrated to America, took a Naturalization test and gained my American citizenship and so then why are we the only generally hyphenated group in America? I guess that is on us as well.

The writer went on to state, in essence, that Black males are literally throwing themselves at the police and so that is why we have so many police involved killings of Black men. No! This is why we have so many police involved killings of Black men.

Texas Officers Fired for Membership in KKK

Two law enforcement officers in Williamson County, Texas, have been fired after it was discovered they were members of the Ku Klux Klan.

County Sheriff John Maspero said there was no evidence the two men, Deputy David Gay, 45, and Sgt. Greg Palm, 29, had committed any acts of discrimination or failed to perform their duties, but said membership in the notorious hate group was sufficient reason to dismiss them.

Officials said they found out the two men belonged to the Klan after they approached another officer and asked him to join.

 He stopped just short of saying that ALL Black men have some sort of ‘crime’ gene in them that renders them incapable of civilized behavior and that the gene they carry needs to be isolated and destroyed so as they can go peacefully about their business and stop murdering one another or throwing themselves at the police who are members of the KKK.  And I am quite sure that the two law enforcement officers in the above block quote are the only ones. Yeah! I’m that delusional. But apparently whites don’t have this gene as they are not murdering other whites at the same rate that Black men are murdering other Black men, they just sign up as KKK members and then join the police force. The editor of this ‘America’s Unspeakable Problem’ post did not say a goddamn thing about the whites who have gone all across this country lynching, shooting and dragging Black men to their deaths because that just ain’t crime right there. That’s justifiable, don’t you know. I fucking swear, my head is going to explode over the sheer outrageous bullshit that appears on my reader.

I went on to post another comment and it reads as follows:

Crime is the result of an ignored problem and the problem in this case is unmitigated poverty, gentrification, homelessness and drug addiction. I live in one of the cities that has been designated a high crime city with a yearly murder rate of over 300.

You go to Breitbart, one of the most right-leaning websites to post your statistics and then try and pretend that you’ve reported on this issue, unbiased when you have not. I can cite statistics from a website that will counter yours and then you can likewise find another website similar to Breitbart to attempt to refute my statistics, meanwhile what does this do for the problem of crime, period? And it is the whites who are always clamoring for lax gun laws and who are shooting each other even at the gun range and who are also the number one killers of each other while cleaning guns or keeping their guns in reach of young children.

Let’s take a look at something.

5. Gang murders are most common among white gangs
While a lot of attention has been given to the gang-related homicides in Chicago’s predominantly-black South side, very little press has been devoted to covering the epidemic of white-on-white gangland murders. As the above chart demonstrates, the majority of gang-related homicides are committed by white people (53.3 percent white, 42.2 percent black), and the majority of white gang murder victims are also white (56.5 percent white, 40 percent black). Have this fact handy the next time someone bemoans “black-on-black” gang violence.

Yeah, so have these figures handy the next time you want to mouth off about ‘America’s unspeakable problem….’

You conveniently neglect to mention how violent whites are but their crime statistics are not reported because of who controls the reporting and because the agenda is to make Black people out to be the worst folks breathing while whites always get a free pass. Not on my watch, you don’t! Whites are killing whites, and how, but you didn’t bother to go on and on about that because that’s not something that anyone wants bandied about because let us just focus on the REAL BAD BLACK FOLKS killing each other. I will certainly be blogging about this post, count on it!

And even after I posted this, the situation only deteriorated, just as I thought.

All of those factors are real. But African-Americans have far higher crime rates than other races even controlling for that.

No, I said exctly the opposite.

I look forward to you doing so. I doubt that you can. The numbers you cite ignore the point shown here. We’re talking about rates of violence. Numbers of crimes per thousand, or relative rates of crime between races. You are looking at absolute numbers, which tell us only that African-Americans are only a tenth of the population. Violent crime rates are what matter inside a community, not the aggregate number of crimes in the nation.

(4) “Gang murders are most common among white gangs”

We’re looking at overall violent crime rates. Parsing those into the many specific kinds of violent crimes is irrelevant to the large point made here, although it is important when taking specific public policy actions to address crime.

See what I mean? “No Shelby, we are looking at ‘overall violent crime rates’.” No, he is not. He is talking about crime rates as it pertains to inner cities that are supposedly committed by ‘African-Americans and since African-Americans are those Africans who willingly rowed up to the shores of America and got processed, then he cannot be speaking of descendants of African slaves, but if he was to be speaking of descendants of African slaves, has he forgotten THE reason we are over here? I even addressed that and it was tossed out like yesterday’s garbage as inconsequential to the situation at hand of out-of-control rampaging male descendants of slaves revolting and attempting to overthrow their white oppressors. Ain’t that just the end of enough? How dare all those ‘Nat Turners’ be out and about just attempting to gain their freedom from their oppressors who just sit somewhere pontificating over why there is so much crime among descendants of slaves.

Goddamn it! We would not be here if your ancestors had not been some of the most lazy ass, good for nothings who had no work ethic whatsoever and so went in search of free labor to build up a stolen land. Must I continuously give a history lesson?Print that! Pontificate over that! Be judgmental about that! Go find that on Breitbart, I fucking dare you! But you won’t do that because that is just not your agenda. Your agenda is to attempt to show everyone that there is just something inherently criminal in Black males and so why the police are killing them is no mystery to you. The police are just doing what medical science refuses to do, eradicate the bad gene that must be what is causing the male descendants of slaves to go rogue! Fuck that and you! I am sick to shit of this type of tripe that does nothing but place the blame for what ails Black communities on Black communities and not on where it belongs, whitey white ass!

And once again, for the motherfuckers out there who are dumb as all hell, we would not be here for you to wonder at your leisure over our so-called crime rates if your ancestors had not dragged ours over here. But that is something that you just want overlooked because though you may think yourselves blameless, you are SO not! We don’t want to have to deal with you any more than you want to deal with us! But yet, you want to pretend as if your shit don’t stink. Well goddamn it, it reeks to the stars and back! Your shit is a funky ass, filthy vile and malodorous stench and so accept it because it’s yours! Goddamn it! Your shit ain’t on us, it’s on you! You own this! Yeah! Lastly, what the fuck are you worried about? We’re fucking not shooting you. Your own goddamn kind is killing you, so worry about your white buddy that lives down the street from you, going the fuck off because he lost his job or he just got back from Afghanistan and can’t distinguish the ‘good guys’ from the ‘bad guys’. February Is Slave History Month

Yea though I stand humbly draped in chains,
I am allowed to celebrate slave history gains.
And since I shall die while serving my white master,
make a note that I worshipped at your feet, sweet Alabaster.

As we are all aware by now, we are in the midst of celebrating Slave History Month and so without further ado, let the celebrations begin.

Those of us who had no choice but to be here since we did not immigrate but are here nevertheless thanks to our ancestors having been forcibly dragged here, take this opportunity to thank those who are the spawn of what dragged us here for giving us this month to celebrate that fact. It is quite apparent that those who wish us to thank them for this opportunity to stand before them in chains to this very day, are awaiting demonstrations of gratitude from us. We have not humbled ourselves in their kitchens, slave quarters, bathrooms, bedrooms and fields quite to their satisfaction for why else have they given us this month in which to thank them for their generosity; their thoughtfulness in dragging our ancestors from Africa to America? How can we let them know just how truly delighted we are to have twenty-eight chapters…I mean, twenty-eight days in which to celebrate our slave history?

And if you think you are not still a slave, why, Donald Trump just disabused you of that notion by in essence, speaking of Frederick Douglass as though he were still alive today.

Trump had this to say about Frederick Douglass. “Frederick Douglass is an example of someone who’s done an amazing job and is being recognized more and more, I noticed.”

Frederick Douglass, on behalf of Donald Trump, we wish to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued excellence in getting your point across as it pertains to “What to the slave is your fourth of July celebrations?‘ as you tour America today. Apparently, you did not die in 1895 since Trump is noticing that you are being recognized more and more wherever you go even though most of us are aware that you were born into slavery. It is good to know that you are still with us and even though you are still a slave, they have given you leeway to go on tour to promote your abolitionist views.

I hear tell that Harriet Tubman is being brought back to life in the form of her picture on the twenty dollar bill. What in the world is President Jackson saying about this? And I know he will not keep quiet about it. But then, we shall surely wait for Donald Trump to get around to enlightening us on that score. So many slaves still here with us today to celebrate Slave History Month and so let us thank them for their continued sacrifices on our behalf. For theirs has been an excruciatingly long and arduous struggle and we also have many Civil Rights icons that we want to thank as well; Rosa Parks, Fannie Lou Hamer, Bayard Rustin, Ralph Abernathy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, Ella Baker, Medgar Evers and so many, many more.

But today, as we celebrate Slave History Month, our celebrations are being upended thanks to The Donald’s Muslim ban and the cries for us to stand in solidarity with the Muslim community that never stood in solidarity with us; in fact, went out of its way to make sure that the ‘whites’ knew that we could not count on Muslim solidarity in our time of need. What group has ever stood in solidarity with us? Most certainly not the Muslims. And just so you know this to be true, here is a little excerpt that I took from a blog that I was reading earlier.

In the Fight Against Islamophobia, Solidarity with other Marginalized Groups is Key

when I sit around listening to aunties at parties giving pointers to each other on the best times to go to yoga classes so as to avoid black people. (Honestly, it’s a charitable interpretation of their language to even say they refer to black folks as people; most of the time they casually use the term kala, which literally means just “black” in Hindi/Urdu.)

Isn’t that nice? Black people are not even referred to as people, only as the ‘color’, Black, literally by the Muslims. You are less than a color to these Muslims. At least the ‘whites’ gave you the dubious distinction of being three-fifths human, but the Muslims don’t even give you that much. And so, you are going to stand somewhere in solidarity with some shits that don’t even see you as ‘human’? What does that say for them? Send their ass packing Donald Trump; each and every damn one of them. Send them packing!

And yes, we must be avoided at all times but because the Muslims are afraid for their very lives now, it has now been deemed appropriate to wake up and recognize that the ‘whites’ are now coming for them, so let’s get with the program that it would be to their benefit to get with ‘the color Black’ at yoga class because those  ‘Black colors’ have been marginalized since forever. The Muslim marginalization has just begun and they want to recognize the fact of ‘the ongoing color Black’ marginalization just NOW! Too goddamn late! Don’t let the door hit you on your ass on the way out of yoga class or on the way out of this country! Send them packing, Donald Trump! Send them packing! And if that isn’t bad enough, read this:

I knew my marginalization wasn’t unique every time I heard my classmates cycle through a seemingly endless repertoire of racist jokes on the schoolbus, about everything from the emo-Muslim who lets out angst by crashing planes to the Mexicans coming out of holes in their backyards to the eternal crowd favorite, “What do you call 3 black men on the moon? Three black men on the moon. What do you call 3 million? Problem solved!”
Just as horrifying as these jokes was the expectation that I would laugh at them too — since, hey, I’m not Mexican or black, so what business do I have being offended?

To take offense for the sake of people different from you is to begin to become invested in a politics deeper than your own individual hurt.

WOW! Hey slaves in America, you taking note of this? This newly marginalized Muslim here has been listening to these racist comments all her life but has chosen this time to dig up some hurt for you because now Muslims like herself are being targeted. So, this indeed is the case of “I did not speak up when first they came for the Blacks in my yoga class, I did not speak up when they told racist jokes about Black men, but now, I want these same ‘marginalized’ people to get with the program that we should now gather in a group hug and recognize that we need each other since I am now one of the ‘marginalized’.” Nope, not going to happen! If you were never in my corner…AND, you were NOT!!!, you are never going to be in my corner simply because the focus is not just solely on our ass anymore, but now they have dumped their collective hatred onto your ass! And even your various college degrees are not enough to save you from their hysterical hatred for Muslims from select countries who hold green cards or an H-1b visa. You see the one difference between us is I don’t hold a green card nor a visa because I was born here. Can you say the same? No, I didn’t think so because if you could, you wouldn’t be so put out about this Muslim ban, would you? They cannot put your sorry ass out of this country fast enough to suit me! Send them packing Donald Trump! Send them packing!

So, let us celebrate Slave History Month, my fellow slaves because we are on our own. There is no need for you to feel pressured to march through the streets with those who are afraid of some immigration ban because their fight is not your fight since your fight, they never bothered with or even thought about since it did not seem as though the ‘whites’ would ever pick a fight with them. No, celebrate your Slave History Month for what it is worth and tell those who would stand in solidarity with you now that karma is a bitch! Send them packing Donald Trump! Send them packing!
