R. Kelly and Michael Jackson: What’s not being discussed — Sevyn Scott

By: Sevyn Scott March 7, 2019 In case you haven’t kept up with the never ending drama, R. Kelly was busted once again for his kiddie antics. In February, he was indicted on 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of four alleged victims which is considered a class 2 felony and can serve up […]

What’s not being discussed is why Harvey Weinstein, who in May, was arrested in New York on charges of rape, criminal sex act, sex abuse and sexual misconduct related to interactions with two women is not making headlines. What is also not being discussed is why there are hundreds of white men who have been accused of rape, criminal sex acts, sex abuse, groping and sexual misconduct but have not had their lives put front and center, been interviewed by Gayle King, have been sent to prison as is the case with Bill Cosby or is being dragged from the grave to be vilified all over again as is the case with Michael Jackson.

Where is the public outrage over these white male parasitic leeches who have all been accused of some form of sex abuse and sexual misconduct?

Let’s start with singer, song-writer, Ryan Adams and moving right along, there is also,

and the list is endless.

So, what’s really going on? What’s going on is that white men can get away with being sexual deviants because who controls the narrative? White men. Black men and their indiscretions must be touted out at every opportunity even upon death.

But know this, no one has a more deviant nature than the white man for his deviance knows no bounds. Even when his deviant shit hits the fan, it merely settles on the floor and is swept out the door. Who writes the history books? Exactly! And that is why the white man’s filth is (HIS)story. If there is no 24/7 news coverage of it, who is concentrating on it? Hence the reason why there is 24/7 news coverage of a Black man’s indiscretions.

Whites have long heralded the Black man as a sexual predator while Black women are encouraged to engage in sexual relations with white male deviants and the narrative remains the same. While their shit gets swept out the door, a Black man’s sex life gets lit the fuck up in an attempt to get everyone to believe the narrative put out by the white man that only Black men are sex addicts and Black women are sex objects. These are outrageous, bald-faced lies!

Halle Berry was married to Eric Benet and she claimed he wanted sex all the time and of course, Eric Benet stated that he was a sex addict and got treatment for it. Meanwhile, Berry went on to a Canadian, who impregnated her and who has tried to take her for everything she is worth and she ended up leaving his ass. Then she decides to try out one of those French motherfuckers, who also impregnated her and who she is now divorced from. So it would seem that Eric Benet was the least problem for her ass.

Likewise, Janet Jackson, who fears for her child’s safety when the child is visiting with the father, Wissam Saleh Al Mana, a Qatari business magnate, she, apparently, is not happy with what she went all the way to Qatar to find. That slut had to go all the way to Qatar to meet her baby daddy who she then turned around and had to call the police for a welfare check on her son while he was in the custody of her baby daddy. Next time, stick with your own kind! And Halle Berry needs to take note of this as well.

What all of us who make up the Black collective fail to understand or to realize is that we have a common enemy and that enemy is the white parasitic leech in ALL forms, female, male, transgender and whatever else its claiming to be changed into on any given day. I guess, a goat next.

While many of us are busy buying into the bullshit about how depraved Bill Cosby, Michael Jackson and R. Kelly is, who is doing a goddamn thing about ALL of the white male deviants that are listed above beginning with Harvey Weinstein and not ending there? Where are the interviews with Gayle King with Harvey Weinstein sitting somewhere trying to justify what he is accused of? Joel Kramer? James Franco? Steve Wynn? Brett Kavanaugh? Vincent Cirrincione? David Copperfield? Tom Brokaw? Paul Haggis? Mike Germano? Andrew Creighton? Peter Martins? Corey Lewandowski? Chuck Close? Charles Dutoit? Jack Latvala? T.J. Miller? Gene Simmons? Andrea Ramsey? Jerry Richardson? Chris Matthews? Brad Kern? Andrew Duncan? Morgan Spurlock? Eric Alexander Hewitt? Ken Friedman? Dan Johnson? Eric Weinberger? Heath Evans? Ryan Lizza? Tom Ashbrook? Mario Batali? Cade Hudson? Jon Heely? Joe Alexander? U.S. Appeals Court Judge Alex Kozinski? Arizona Republican Rep. Trent Franks, Bryan Singer? Donald J. Trump?

Need I continue with the list? I didn’t think so! So no, white males are not sexual deviants, are they? They’re just fine, upstanding, good ole wholesome white men? Is that right? Well, tell that to the men and women who have accused those bastards of rape, criminal sex acts, sex abuse, groping and sexual misconduct. Tell them that shit! But where is the accountability from them? Why aren’t they making headlines, continuously for their criminal sex acts, sex abuse, rape, sexual misconduct and some more shit of the like? Because they control the narrative. They control the script. They write the laws that allow them to break said laws while at the same time enforcing said laws against those whom they have accused of doing exactly what they stand accused of. How sick is that? Now, who is the sexual deviant here? The accused who is paying for any crime he may or may not have committed or the accused who will never be brought before a ‘judge’ to answer for what he has been accused of?

Black folks, there comes a time when we need to take a step back and look at the big picture and the big picture is that there has always been a war being waged against us by our mortal foe; the white parasitic leeches. They are ramping up that war and we as a much put upon group need to step up our game and ‘circle the wagons’. This is US versus them and those ‘thems’ ain’t fucking human and so have not one iota of compassion, empathy or humanity. They don’t even have a soul. They are monsters! Believe what the hell they say at your own peril! Lie down with that vile and atrocious shit at your own peril. Throw your own kind under the bus at your own peril because if we listen to what the white media throws at us about how depraved our Black men are while those pale parasitic leeches crawl and slither away from the vile ass shit they do, then we will deserve everything that those parasites are about to fling our way. We never made it off the plantation! You can’t see that? We are still on the plantation together! Now is not the time to denounce our own. Now is not the time to get on the “Fuck up the Black man” bandwagon that the pale parasitic leeches are dragging around Amerikkka. Donald “Grab Them By The Pussy” Trump was elected president and white so-called female parasites knew this before they voted for him. They then turn around and act quite shocked when he nominates Brett Kavanaugh to the highest court in the land, but yet, Bill Cosby is THE problem? Deceased Michael Jackson is THE problem? R. Kelly is THE problem? Neither Bill Cosby, nor deceased Michael Jackson, nor R. Kelly are/were in any position to lay down the law in this stolen land. Brett Kavanaugh can and so can Donald Trump, but what has happened to those two? Not a goddamn thing and it won’t. Now is the time to ‘band’ together and push back against this bullshit! It is now or never! That’s what’s NOT being discussed!

Unfortunately, I Was Right About Prince!

But quite actually, not surprised!

Medical examiner: Prince died of Fentanyl overdose

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Prince died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl, a powerful opioid painkiller that is up to 50 times more potent than heroin, autopsy results released Thursday show.

The findings confirm suspicions that opioids played a role in the death of the superstar musician, who was found dead April 21 at his Minneapolis-area estate.

Apparently, those previous reports of ‘flu-like’ symptoms were just a cover-up for the fact that Prince was addicted to painkillers thanks in part to the fact of worn-out joints, an aging body and a desire to continue to perform.

After being in the limelight for decades, it is hard to sit down and be relegated to retirement and obscurity. Many of us think that the money alone would be good enough for us, but put yourself in their shoes and it would more than likely look differently to you, as was the case with Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and all of the great ones who suffered career setbacks, sensational scandals, an aging body and fickle fans. I have stated it before and I state it again, when people are put on a pedestal, worshipped and idolized, it does something to them and they cannot ‘enjoy’ being an average person any longer. Drugs are going to play a role in their lives; that is a given. There are only a few celebrities who have not succumbed to the lure of drug addiction; be they from painkillers or other opioids or narcotics.

I understand that it has been said that Prince lived a ‘clean’ life; no alcohol or drugs and that he was a ‘vegetarian’. Although, it was first suggested that he was a vegan and I also understand that since that was changed, could it also be a lie that Prince was addicted to fentanyl? We could argue about it all day and all night, but one fact remains, Prince was getting old. Fifty-seven is not young in the music industry and Prince was in the music industry for decades and the wear and tear on joints after all the punishment he put them through are going to start acting up and to counter the pain, medication is necessary. No amount of a vegetarian lifestyle or religious practices are going to ease the ache of painful hip joints and arthritic knees. Get real!

Devil worshippers are not to blame for Prince’s death. The ‘illuminati’ did not cause Prince’s hip and knee pains. If you look at the old videos of Prince in action, you cannot fail to walk away without saying that after years of that type of abuse, pain at the age of 57, as a result was to be expected especially since he continued to perform. But notice that his later performances were tame in comparison. The man just could not leap about and jump from high speakers anymore. He more than likely tried to do without the painkillers but he was expected to do more than just stand up on stage, clutching a microphone and to put those joints in use meant either deal with it and try not to grimace or take painkillers because the show must go on. There were adoring fans who needed to be entertained and get their money’s worth from the performance. The ‘fans’ care not for aging joints. They want their ‘gods’ to never age, never show human frailties, and above all, never be like the rest of us. That is not why Prince was ‘idolized’, for being like the rest of us.

And we would think that since Prince is dead, has been cremated, it would be ‘case closed’, but it is only just beginning. Now, comes the blame game. Who gave Prince the fentanyl? Who helped Prince overdose on a powerful opioid painkiller? Who is responsible? Ultimately, it was up to Prince as to whether or not to take the drugs that helped him to continue to perform.

I can only speculate as to whether or not Prince was pushed by an overwhelming desire to continue to achieve perfection even in the face of much suffering so that he could perform or was it a desire to just dull the pain of aging joints to just allow him to walk without suffering. I don’t know. What I do know is that if he could stand the pain in his day-to-day activities, then I see no reason for fentanyl. But if he were taking fentanyl in order to perform, than that was on Prince.

Lastly, the opioid epidemic that is increasingly in the news, will surely get a boost in coverage now that it has been concluded that Prince died from an abuse of opioids. Too bad the crack epidemic that decimated Black communities all across AmeriKKKa did not get the same attention and calls from politicians and the CDC to have crack addiction treated as a medical condition instead of what it was treated as, a crime. But then, look at who the face of opioid addiction is, other than Prince, of course.

My Thoughts On Prince, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston And The Burden Of Fame!

prince michael and whitney

This is what I think about those who entertain us; the ones we laud, now and forever more for their outstanding achievements. I think that they just get burned out. I think that fame and fortune comes with a huge price tag and to pay that price, it means endless hours of grueling and exhausting work, work and work to continue to produce what they are adored for, to produce more for their fans who expect more and more and more from them.

With the recent passing of Prince and the not so distant passing of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, there seems to be a common denominator; aging and drugs, drugs to deal with the pain emanating from a body that has been put through a nightmarish and hellish torture. Can you just imagine what it would take to get your body ready for a concert tour? Can you imagine the hours of rehearsals, day after day after day. They have got to achieve perfection. There can be no ‘retakes’. There is no room for failure. Their fans are expecting them to give their all and to continue to give it, forever! They are expected to be above human failings. The problem is, they are not. They are put on a pedestal and they are worshipped and idolized and that has to do something to them. The pressure alone has to be beyond anything I can imagine. I would not have the stamina to withstand the pressures of being under a microscope, forever. I could not imagine the grueling workout routines and regimens they must have had to endure to be able to get through multiple back-to-back concerts and make it all look effortless and for them to look, tireless.

We are all extremely selfish when it comes to those who entertain us. We just hear and see the finished ‘product’. We don’t get to see all that goes into putting that finished ‘product’ together up until the moment they step out onto that stage and perform. We don’t see the sleepless nights when they are trying to pen lyrics to paper and then music to lyrics and then dance moves to the music. We think that it is all just glitz and glamour and fun and a beautiful voice and riches and fame and oh the wonder of it all. They must train their voice in order to extend it through hours of entertaining us and they also have no private life. Who they are friends with is known. Who they are dating or who they marry is known. Where they shop, what they buy and so forth and so on. They have no privacy whatsoever. And it seems as though it is expected of them to know that they have no right to privacy because they should know that they belong to us; their adoring and exacting fans. They cannot let us down for if they do, we will turn our backs on them, just as we did when Whitney Houston’s voice finally gave out due to her giving up. The pressure was just too great. Being in the spotlight all the time was more than she could take and add an aging body into the mix and there you have it, another ‘idol’ gone too soon, but was it too soon for her? We will never know.

And with Michael Jackson, what was different? We hear about his financial problems and we all know the scandals that rocked his life. We have heard about the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father as a child. The man had no childhood. He was expected to perform, get it right the first time and never should the word, ‘imperfect’ be a part of his life; privately or publicly. That would confuse the hell out of me. I wouldn’t even begin to know who I was, especially when I never knew what it was like to be a child; to laugh and to play and to run around a playground. He couldn’t do those things because he had lyrics to write and songs to produce and moves to choreograph; an adoring public to perform in front of and the performance had better be perfect, so said his father in his early years and he knew later on in life that it was demanded of him. But with an aging body, scandals dogging his every footstep, nowhere to turn, what did you think would happen? Oh we think that they are surrounded by a loving family and plenty of bosom buddy friends but Michael Jackson was alone with just a doctor when he died. The Michael Jacksons the Princes and Whitney Houstons of this world were more alone than we can ever know. The kind of life they must live does not bode for a long life. It cannot. The body cannot take it for long and neither can the mind. All of the greats have this in common. Not many live a long life.

Prince died alone. And yet, he was idolized. I have read that his parties were ‘All The Rage’ and everyone wanted an invitation but when the final curtain call came, who was with him? Where were all of these people who had clamored to be around him, to hitch their wagon to his star? Who faced with him, the pain of an aging body, the ravages of countless, sleepless nights spent at the piano attempting to pound out yet another hit because the hits just needed to keep coming? He was Prince. He was not a mere person. He was an idol; a god. He walked, not among us, but above us which is where we put him. No mere mortal can endure that kind of adulation forever. It exacted a toll. And death comes all too prematurely; a common denominator, once again.

These people that we idolize cease to be human and become ‘wonders’. They become stars. And where are stars? Stars are in the sky beyond our reach and so are these people. We cannot touch them. We can only see and hear them from a distance and we can read about them and follow them as best we can on social media and to one country after another when they go on tour.

But have you ever stopped and asked yourself, “Could I handle the pressure?” Have you ever even stopped to question just what it must be like to be idolized; put on a pedestal, not seen as all too human? Our idols will never live ‘up’ to our expectations because we prop them up too high and the higher we prop them up, the greater the distance they have to fall. And when they fall, we are not there to catch them. And so, they die, alone.

Think about that the next time you find yourself worshipping, idolizing and putting on a pedestal a person who, without the gift of a beautiful singing voice or some other extraordinary talent, would be just another you; an ordinary human being and not a ‘god’; a star in the sky, out of reach of us mere mortals. Please remember, they too, were mere mortals who happened to have been blessed with a gift they chose to share with us and though we think we did right by them, we only did them a disservice by never truly realizing all that we expected of them and all that they gave to us; not until after they died. We failed them, they did not fail us. Mankind was not meant to be worshipped, but to love and to be loved.

“Man In The Mirror!”

Michael Jackson1

I would like to recognize and honor Michael Jackson with this post. That man could move me to tears every single time I heard him sing and every single time I saw him move. He cared so much about this planet and about the children and for that he was targeted. I don’t care how much he settled those erroneous lawsuits for and I don’t care what any media hounds printed about him. He was a victim of an abusive father and yet despite that and in defiance of that, he still went on to become the greatest living legend to have ever graced this planet.
That mess that we are forced to listen to on radios and IPods and other listening devices is not worth a farthing. What I wouldn’t give to be able to turn back the hands of time and change the circumstances under which Michael Jackson died. If only I could replay that day over, he would still be with us today, if I had anything to say about it.

I find myself going to YouTube and just watching and listening to the magic that IS Michael. I sit and shed tears whenever I hear “Man In The Mirror.” That song right there speaks volumes. What this world could look like if only each and every one of us looked in the mirror and if we did not like what we see, and most of us do not, confront the evilness in our hearts and fight against it, if we would confront the hatred and ugliness that consumes us and turn that into something positive, what a wonderful world this could be.

Can you just imagine what this world is going to look like in a mere five years from now if we continue down the road we are headed? There will be no bright future for our children and our grandchildren. That is a fact. What we lack is even the basics in humanity 101. We don’t even have the basics down pat to what it means to be ‘human’. How can we even look our children in the eye and say, “This world will be a better place for you when I am gone because I am going to see to it,” when we see to it that it gets more and more fucked up as each day passes. We are not only failing our children, we are failing ourselves. We moan and whine about some unseen forces that are in control of our lives and yet what do we do about things that are within our control? We do nothing but bellyache and complain and hope that some savior will come from who the hell knows where and do the hard part; carve a better future for us all. We are supposed to be doing that.

When was the last time you helped someone? Or saw someone in a store with not enough money to pay for their food and you stepped up and paid the difference? When was the last time you went to a shelter and handed out socks or personal hygiene items to those in need? When was the last time you passed by a homeless person and looked the other way? Consoled your conscience with the thought that, “Well, he probably is just scamming us?” It is so easy to tell ourselves that there is nothing that we can do about anything. For starters, you could visit a nursing home and brighten some sick and elderly person’s day. It does not have to always cost you money to do some good instead of just posting about how bad shit is. We all know this. Yeah, it’s bad, but what are we doing about it? How about we leave our keyboards, let them collect dust and help someone instead of bringing the stories of the downtrodden for us to scroll and peruse, and instead, blog about the fact that you got off your ass and took canned goods to a food shelf and said, “Pass it on! Play it forward!” Blogged about the fact that you ladled soup out at a homeless shelter, and said, “Pass it on! Play it forward!” Blogged about the fact that you cleaned out your closet, found winter coats that you couldn’t wear and donated them, “Now pass it on! Play it forward!” Blogged about the fact that you brightened a child’s day by tutoring him/her and again said, “Pass it on! Play it forward!” There are programs in every city in every state that need volunteers. If we really want to provide a better future for our children and grandchildren, then don’t bother looking to Bernie Sanders to get it done. Don’t bother looking to Hillary Clinton to get it done or Donald Trump. You be the change that makes a difference. No politician is going to ever get it done. We, the people have it within our power to help one person at a time. When will you write about what you have done to help someone as opposed to writing about what you hope some politician will do?

Stand and look in your mirror. You be the ‘man’ in the mirror. Not Bernie Sanders. Not Hillary Clinton. Not Donald Trump. Not Jeb Bush, but YOU! Change can start with YOU and ME! “Pass it on! Play it forward!” Make that change!

Have We Broken The Chains Of Slavery?

break the chain

Have we broken the chains of slavery?
And before you answer, “Yes!”
Just take a look around.
Give me your wildest guess.

Our children can’t play in parks.
They are shot for being Black.
Black women are hanged in jail,
and the unemployment office is packed.

The homeless on the street
are there because they are poor.
Gentrification took their homes
and shoved them out the door.

The Blacks in Hollywood
are never recognized.
No gains have been made.
Now, can this be denied?

Try and convince yourself
that we have made progress.
And then take your blinders off
because Black America is a mess!

Since Black History Month is so goddamn short, I thought I’d get an early start.

Now, I would try and post something on Black History Month each and everyday, but y’all know the story. Since I am Black, then that means that I am more than likely caught up in some legal issues and that is why I will most likely not be able to post each day because it shall be necessary for me to tend to my legal issues. And no, I have not robbed the liquor store, burned down a CVS or mugged an old white lady, I am involved in a civil matter that DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!, quite actually was initiated by the criminal act of a ‘white’ woman. Yeah, I know, who would’ve thought! But be that as it may, let me set the record straight. I don’t give a good goddamn about the fact that the mainstream media portrays Black people as the initiator of crimes far and above that of whites when nothing could be further from the truth. The truth of the matter is that white folks don’t get caught up in the legal system or court system because who controls ‘THE SYSTEM’? Exactly! White filth does! So what white filth is going to charge other white filth with a crime? Just ask Mr. ‘Affluenza’ himself, Ethan Couch.

It was a case that captivated the nation, prompting a discussion about wealth and power: A white teenager from a well-off family killed four people in a Texas suburb in June 2013 while driving drunk. At trial, a judge gave the teenager probation after a witness testified that he had suffered from too much privilege — an affliction the witness called “affluenza.”

But since I have a penchant for digressing and getting sidetracked, February, the shortest month of the year, has been designated as Black History Month. Thank you! Thank you white folks! How very ‘white’ of you to do this for us poor Black folks that you continue to fuck up to this very day but at least I get a month set aside, ‘thanks’ to your thoughtfulness, to showcase the gains that have been made by Blacks in this shithole called, AmeriKKKa. And white folks know that there ain’t gonna be any gains, hence the designation of February as Black History Month!

And yes, the gains are embarrassingly few. So without further ado, I shall get started. As of today, January 30th, 2016, Black people have gained uh…..let me think….uh….hmmmm…oh yes, the right to vote. The right to vote for one bigoted asshole after another and as if that wasn’t bad enough, the whites had us thinking that we were voting for a Black man, Barack Obama and he turned out to be just another worthless ass white motherfucker all got up in Black face.

Now, for gain number two. Hold on, I’m thinking. I got it! I got it! Even though this is not occurring here in AmeriKKKa, the shit in Great Britain spawned the vile shits that sailed to AmeriKKKa and Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, was born in AmeriKKKa. The British are making a TV series about Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando and of course, this will give another out-of-work Black actor, a job playing the role of Michael Jackson. The half-hour comedy “Elizabeth, Michael & Marlon,” centers around a fabled road trip in which Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando tried to get home to Los Angeles from New York after the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Joseph Fiennes’ casting as Michael Jackson in a British TV production, is WHITE!

Stop the goddamn presses! What the fuck!! A white motherfucker is going to play Michael, ‘had an Afro at one point in time’ Jackson???!!!!!

Here ends the ‘gains’ of Blacks in ‘white’ AmeriKKKa! Now let me step outside and spontaneously fucking combust AND have my head blast off into deep goddamn space! If that ain’t beyond the end of enough! Goddamn motherfucking jacked up shit, is what it is! But we gone celebrate Black History Month! Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit!!!!
