To Protect CAPITALISM, Rick Santelli At CNBC Suggests That EVERYONE Be Given Coronavirus Otherwise Known As COVID-19

 

Whites never fail to amaze me with the shit that comes out of their piehole and if Rick Santelli thinks that everyone should be given coronavirus to stop whites losing billions of dollars on Wall Street, then why hasn’t he lined his depraved ass up at the CDC and demanded to be the first person to be injected with COVID-19 aka coronavirus? Since his clueless ass is old, then maybe he’ll be keeling over in no time flat and there would be one less dumbass white bastard we need worry about.

CNBC’s Rick Santelli suggests giving everyone coronavirus to spare the economy

“Everyone in America should be given the coronavirus so the economic impact of the outbreak can be lessened,” CNBC on-air editor Rick Santelli suggested Thursday.

But what he left unsaid was that such an approach could result in more than 11 million Americans dead.

Santelli, who is widely credited with helping spark the so-called tea party movement in 2009, made the attention-grabbing COVID-19 comments in a conversation with “The Exchange” anchor Kelly Evans, who asked the volatile, Chicago-based Santelli what the catalyst had been for the recent chaos on Wall Street.

I just cannot make this shit up. Not one word is said about how many people would die not just from coronavirus but as a direct result of hospitals and medical offices overwhelmed to the point whereas even millions more would die because they would not receive the necessary care they need. Ever the thoughtful ones republican assholes are including Donald Trump who at first stated that coronavirus was a figment of the media and the Democrats imagination. He even suggested that the death toll was not accurate in order to downplay the havoc that coronavirus is wreaking not only on the U.S. economy, but also on economies, worldwide. You see, airline executives had a stony-faced meeting with Trump not too long ago because coronavirus is causing people to stop flying despite airlines screeching that they are disinfecting those planes like crazy. That won’t help because everyone is breathing the same air as long as those plane doors are closed and whomever has the virus and sneezes or coughs has exposed everyone on that plane to whatever contagion they are carrying; the same with cruise ships.

And though everyone thought that the summer months would put an end to coronavirus, the World Health Organization says, “Not so fast!”

It’s a “false hope” that COVID-19 will be seasonal and subside in the summer, like the flu, the World Health Organization said Friday.

According to the World Health Organization, this virus is not acting like any seasonal flu or virus that has been seen before and so this virus is not expected to act like previous viruses and so capitalists are foaming at the mouth over what the impact of this virus will have and the fact that no end is in sight, hence why asswipe, ignorant, disgusting troglodytes like Rick Santelli is suggesting that everyone be given coronavirus so that CAPITALISM can start humming right along as though coronavirus never reared its viral head.

This virus is most definitely interrupting business as usual for the whites all across the globe who have been hell bent on plundering and pillaging every resource this planet has to the detriment of said planet, but this planet has had enough of their shit and is fighting back. Earthquakes, volcanoes, floods and other events of the like couldn’t get the job done and so this planet upped the ante. Now you whites figure THIS shit out! Yeah! Go ahead and try giving this shit to everyone on the goddamn planet and see what becomes of YOU and CAPITALISM. Both are going to be nonexistent. So, by all means, give it a try, you clueless, deranged, megalomaniac, scum sucking bottom feeders! People are getting sick on those petri dishes better known as cruise ships and are having to circle the goddamn ocean while waiting on test results to come back. Dumbasses, tell me, why the hell are you still taking a cruise when you know what has been happening on cruise ships? People in a nursing home are in quarantine because the workers and the patients are infected and entire families are being quarantined off from each other because of this virus and not to mention, I just read that a motel was bought for $4 million by Washington state officials to house coronavirus quarantine patients, the situation is getting so bad. School systems have been closed in Washington state and the University of Washington  is closing due to coronavirus. Mass gatherings are being frowned upon since they have the potential to spread this virus, far and wide, hence why air and sea travel are extremely dangerous. Close quarters and everyone breathing the same air is a breeding ground for this virus and the toll of the sick and dying from this virus is steadily rising, not falling.

So as you can see, the shit is hitting the fan and the only thing republicans and their mouthpieces can think about is the impact coronavirus is having on Wall Street. Ever the thoughtful, conscientious and empathetic humanitarians are the republicans, don’t you think? How do those shameless shits continuously get a microphone shoved in their faces and the public has to listen to their tripe when if it were up to them, we’d ALL be getting injected with coronavirus just to staunch the losses on Wall Street? Never mind the sick and dying, never mind the toll that this is taking on friends and families of the sick and dying. Republicans never have any thought for anyone. Their only objective is to make money and to continuously uphold this capitalist society that only benefits the uber wealthy. Everyone else can just drop dead already in order to preserve CAPITALISM and that is exactly what Rick Santelli of CNBC is advising.

And for those of you who shop on Amazon, Amazon is reporting that one of their workers has contracted coronavirus and so there’s another spread coming. Not to mention, I don’t recall the CDC or WHO commenting on just how long coronavirus can live on nonporous surfaces, do you? Two employees at Microsoft have also come down with coronavirus as well as an employee of Google and this has caused Google to cancel all international travel. Also Facebook is conducting interviews via video conferencing and all of this is having  a devastating impact on the hotel industry as well as on restaurants, taxi and uber drivers. All of this is negatively impacting capitalism and so expect a serious demand that some lab come up with a vaccine, like yesterday, to combat the coronavirus even though an estimate for a vaccine rollout date will likely take twelve to eighteen months. Capitalism cannot wait that long. Place your bets. Capitalism or coronavirus? For many Asians, they lost the bet to coronavirus. You see, even though it has been stated that your ‘Chinese’ food should be okay, what about the cook who just recently returned from China and escaped quarantine and he has a cough? He has spread coronavirus to the delivery driver who is touching your container, bags, etc. Been to your neighborhood Chinese takeout joint recently? Gone overseas to get the ‘real deal’ recently?

The Trump Administration is considering ways to discourage U.S. travelers from taking cruises as part of a broader Trump administration effort to limit the spread of coronavirus.

As I stated above, cruise ships are breeding grounds for coronavirus and is it any wonder seeing as how there have been so many outbreaks of the norovirus, it is become commonplace?

I have been strangely quiet

We say we hate capitalism

We say we hate our politicians.
We despise them one and all.
They don’t represent our interests.
And yet, we vote for them each fall.

We point fingers at another
and we claim that they are wrong
when in fact, we’re all depraved,
it’s why we cannot get along.

Oh yes I have been extremely quiet,
just watching shit hit the fan.
What need have I to point out
that the foulest seed is man?

There is endless war in Syria
 and Libya is filled with rebels.
All of this chaos was put into play
by American and NATO devils.

Poor Iraq, we hear nothing about
as if those folks are doing fine.
I doubt if they’re eating caviar
or drinking expensive wine.

But here in the land of the ‘exceptional’
the entertainment never ends.
We just gorged on wings and pizza
with our loud and drunken friends.

1,400 people learn their jobs are moving to Mexico

A crowd of Carrier manufacturing workers erupted into anger Wednesday as they learned their plant was being relocated to Monterrey, Mexico.

Carrier, an Indianapolis-based heating, ventilation and air conditioning company owned by United Technologies, announced in a statement on Wednesday that the plant would undergo a three-year transition to Mexico starting in 2017.

Carrier is one of two United Technologies plants to announce a move to Mexico — the corporation announced on the same day it would also be moving a plant in Huntington, Indiana. The closing will eliminate about 700 jobs from the city in northeastern Indiana.

And now with the signing of the TPPA, is this situation going to get any better? But they tell us that the unemployment figures are so low as to be negligible. The lies just keep coming. Who in hell believes that the REAL unemployment rate is 4.9%? Seriously? Sears and Kmart stores are closing, left and right. The only stores that are doing a booming business are Dollar Tree, Dig-A-Dollar, Collar-A-Dollar and Holla-For-A-Dolla! This past holiday sales figures were dismal and that is an understatement. Target just closed up shop in Canada. Wal-Mart just announced the closure of all Express Wal-Mart stores. JC Penny is gasping to stay alive and even Macy’s is choking and the unemployment rate is 4.9%?!!! Get the fuck outta here with that bullshit!

The State of the Union Speech…for real!

First of all, let me be clear, I did not look at the State of the Union speech last night, but here is my take on it.

“My fellow Americans, let me be clear. I love you all and I love America! We are at a turning point in America’s history. I have created so many unemployed people, that I have been contacted by the Guinness Book of World Records for this submission. I have closed so many retail stores, I believe I have broken another record. I have drone struck so many innocent people in foreign lands that our drone program is in no danger of ending. I have deposed so many other evil dictators, the world is a much safer place, especially in Libya and Iraq. That mess I got started over in Ukraine, uh, I mean…that Putin got started over in Ukraine is going just as planned. Venezuela is feeling our wrath and will continue to do so until they realize just who is in charge of their country. I have opened relations with Cuba for our, uh, their benefit. Oil production is at an all-time high and our shale industry is doing great. In fact, I just received a thank you letter from some folks in Texas who haven’t yet received their lay-off notices. Real bad Black folks who were caught with a dime bag of weed on them will be incarcerated for 30 years and so white folks, go ahead and take that deep sigh of relief. The prison industrial complex is in full swing and mostly privatized as that is what free market enterprise is all about. The government should not corner the market. There are enough prisoners to fill all institutions. There is no need for more schools since our poor are in prison. There is no need to pass legislation to rein in Wall Street as they are great at overseeing what they do. Those folks are the best.

We have several distinguished guests with us tonight. First up, we have Jack Black who wrote a letter to Santa begging him to let him get an education and grow up to be a successful entrepreneur. His greatest hope is that he does not find himself on the business end of an AK-47 held by New York’s finest in blue. And I am here to help him with his dreams of entrepreneurship because my Administration has approved $20.00 in funding for new business enterprises for Black inner city youth and this young man should have the ability to open as many shoeshine stands on the streets of New York City as is possible for him to realize his dream.

As you all are aware, we just celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and I must say, Dr. King visited me in my dreams last night and thanked me for the wonderful job that I am doing in increasing unemployment in Black communities all across America. Dr. King praised me for increasing child poverty to unprecedented levels because even Dr. King understood the premise of pulling yourselves up by your very own bootstraps. He could never tolerate slackers. Look how much marching he did. That was quite a stretch, marching from Selma to Montgomery. Dr. King realized that the rich prop the economy up and that serfs and peasants are needed and therefore, we have created a nice little niche for said serfs and peasants to slave away all day long; cleaning the toilets of the rich, handing them their lattes across the counters of Starbucks, ringing up their purchases at Nordstrom’s and of course, bowing and scraping to them as they dust and vacuum their homes.

At the start of my first term, I did what I had to do and that is why not one Wall Street thug that caused the economic collapse went to jail because those thugs are necessary to uphold the very foundation of the economic status of millions of Americans. How else could Americans lose their homes? These self-sacrificing thugs are up all night swilling champagne and trying to formulate plans to make more Americans homeless because that builds character and if I may go back to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., for a minute. Dr. King said, “Do not judge me by the color of my skin, but by the content of my character.” So, as you can see, my inspiration tonight comes from Dr. K. Wassup man? Dr. King was all for building on character. Don’t worry about your skin color. I am half Black and half white and I stand before you as president of the greatest militarized country on the planet. If we maintain our military, then we don’t need to fund food stamp programs. Seniors can take cuts in their Social Security benefits and the Disabled can join our military in the bullet making department. We even have openings at various drone sites all across the country. Even a senior citizen can put some bi-focal glasses on, cite innocent foreign targets and with the touch of a button, send them to hell. These are mean times we live in folks. We’ve created so many terrorists that we just may have to reinstitute the draft. By doing so, we will put more people to work because we have jobs available in the military for the blind, crippled and the crazy. Hell! That’s what we turn our service men and women into anyway and we need some fresh blood ‘cause the troops ain’t looking so great.

We have another distinguished guest with us tonight. This lady from Little Rock, Arkansas wrote to me about her need for housing. Joan Bloomers, where are you? Oh, there you are. Please, let her out of the cage so that she can acknowledge my acknowledgement of her. I thought I told you Joe to prepare a bath for Ms. Bloomers. The homeless shelter she is staying at has bedbugs and lice and no hot showers. Thank you for your letter Ms. Bloomers, now back inside your cage, if you will! Now, I know what some of you are thinking. John Rabid Dog McCain has twelve houses and I bet that he would not even miss one and could therefore, give one of his homes to Ms. Bloomers here. You know what? I wouldn’t even think of asking John Rabid Dog McCain to give up not even one of his homes because well, why should he? Ms. Bloomers needs the assistance of her community and since I was a community organizer, I am well aware that the community should have come together to provide some assistance for Ms. Bloomers’ housing needs. HUD is underfunded due to the needs of our military and unfortunately for Ms. Bloomers, I cannot offer her a Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher at this time. Be patient, Ms. Bloomers and patience is its own reward. Have faith in your Lord and Savior Ms. Bloomers and know that he shall deliver you out of the cold of winter and into the warmth of the Pearly Gates.

And in closing, let me say, fellow Americans, I take much pride in informing you that I intend to start a new two year community college program for all 2nd graders. This program will be funded through tax increases on the class that used to be the middle class but has now descended into the underprivileged class, but not to worry folks. After the 2nd graders take the TAS standardized entrance tests for the two year community college program, that will weed out the wheat from the chaff and only the brightest minds will be qualified. They will be the exceptional ones and as you all know, we here in America, pride ourselves on our exceptionalism. So remember, my fellow Americans, I have decreased high paying jobs, I have increased the need for food stamps. I have increased child poverty by leaps and bounds. I have committed more war crimes than I can shake a stick at and all that I have done is because of my love for America. We shall continue to reign as the most impoverished but the most militarized, warring nation on the face of this planet. Our motto is, “We came, we saw, we conquered, we blew it up and we went back and we blew it up again!” Now take that ISIS AND Vladimir Putin!

Why are Bill and Linda Gates deemed such philanthropists but they are NOT so filled with love that they are concerned about ‘getting through the eye of the needle’ that Jesus Christ supposedly talked about?

Why do the rich seem to not concern themselves with a so-called ‘afterlife’? It is because they don’t BELIEVE in some unseen deity beyond the stars. They know better! But you’ve got to be kept in line, praying to god to fill your empty pantry so that you can feed your children while corporate executives swill the finest wines and eat the choicest of meats and delicacies. Why are they not concerned about getting to ‘heaven’, entering the Pearly Gates, meeting up with St. Peter, ‘getting through the eye of a needle’?

It is because this is all a lie! A big, gigantic lie to keep the sheep, docile with the hope that some deity is going to reward them for the hardships that they endure on this planet and not look at those who have hoarded all the wealth and rise up! Religion is a tool to control people and I’ve got to say, it IS working!

Wake up people! No one is going to rescue you or save you, but you! Stop allowing yourself to be controlled. The shit that the ‘poor man’s Pope adorns himself with could feed a small country in Africa, but you don’t see him refusing to wear it. If Jesus supposedly walked around, attired in a robe with a rope for a belt, is the Pope any better than ‘Jesus’? What is your bishop, reverend, pastor, rabbi driving? A horse and buggy or a Cadillac Escalade? Are they walking? Exactly!

Another Bullshit Christmas!

Marching for global climate change? That’s NOT going to get it done! How about we stop buying, buying and buying? How about we sink Wall Street instead of flooding it since we flood Wall Street with our consuming ways. How many Apple products would be sold if we simply stop buying them? How many ways could we stave off further damage to this planet if we simply refused to buy yet another Apple iPod touch 3rd generation, 4th generation, 5th generation so that WE as people could continue for generations instead of a goddamn iPod?

When will we cease with the hypocrisy already and get real?! By marching, you’re not doing a goddamn thing to stop global climate change. The only thing you’re doing is some feel good shit that ain’t getting it done! How many of you charged up your iPhone before heading to the global climate change march? Eh? What’s that? I fucking can’t hear you! That’s what I thought. Every goddamn one of you plugged that charger in and then the minute you could, uploaded a video of how many people attended the global climate change march and marched for not a goddamn thing because you’re ALL fucking up and causing climate change. Getting arrested ain’t how you do your part to mitigate the damage that’s been done by us to this planet. Marching through Times Square by the hundreds of thousands did what for global climate change? Not a goddamn thing.

What you need to do, you refuse to do. You can’t stop buying. And those same people that marched by the hundreds of thousands will be camping out in mall parking lots in just a couple of months in anticipation of purchasing some more earth destroying junk. Now, you see what hypocrites you all are? Again, here’s a clue! If you ain’t living in the woods and riding horseback, you’re contributing to climate change. U.S. Economy Contracted Almost 3 Percent in First Quarter

“The U.S. economy contracted much more than previously thought during the first quarter of this year, revised estimates show. Rather than the 1 percent growth the Commerce Department reported last month, gross domestic product fell by 2.9 percent, the worst performance in five years. That brings total growth down by 3 percent since the government first reported its estimates in April. There hasn’t been a larger difference between the second and third revised estimates in 38 years, the Commerce Department said on Wednesday.”

We ain’t doing so good! What a goddamn understatement. The American economy has ‘contracted’. Now what does that mean? It means that the American economy has shrunk, declined, dwindled, decreased, got smaller. It means that the American economy is fucked up and ain’t about to get off life support for some time to come. Actually, the plug is being pulled.

There is talk about inflation as if it hasn’t already hit. Uh…I was in the grocery store just the other day and I’ve got news for those lame ass media clowns, inflation was staring me all up in my not so astonished face. One woman told me that she had just left the meat case because she was sure that she’d need an ambulance to cart her away for having palpitations over the price of meat and she wondered just how people were feeding their families these days. Good thing some people are wondering about that because I’m sure that people who are trying to feed their families are wondering the same thing. What’s it going to be tonight? Ramen noodles AGAIN or rice. You see, the staple, peanut butter is out-priced for many. Have you seen the price of even an off-brand jar of peanut butter? It’s almost right up there with the name brand.

But then, I took a look at something else that just doesn’t add up. Take a look at this.

The DOW is still at 16,000+ and yet, the economy is ‘contracting’. Inflation has reared its ugly head, food prices have skyrocketed and have you seen the price of gas recently? Why just two weeks ago, I was driven by the gas station and gas was $3.59 a gallon. That was in the morning. By evening, it was $3.69 a gallon. Today, it is $3.89 a gallon.

I did mention inflation, didn’t I? Well, what exactly IS inflation?
a general increase in prices and fall in the purchasing value of money.

So, as prices increase, sort of like what has been occurring in grocery stores all across America and wages have been stagnant again, all across America, this means that there is less and less purchasing power for the goods and services that have increased in price. No wonder I’m hearing that a great many Americans are holding onto their old vehicles and are having them serviced as opposed to heading to the dealership every two years to trade the old in for the new. Is this not a clear sign that we’ve never come out of the Great DEPRESSION? The lamestream media can hype shit up until the cows come home, go back and come back home again, but the truth will come out in some instances because empty wallets don’t lie. If you ain’t got it because by the time you’ve paid the mortgage/rent, electric/gas bill, phone, cable/internet, medical bills, food, car note/insurance, gas, there is nothing left over for discretionary spending. Family movie night is most likely a finger puppet show behind a sheet. Date night is probably a bottle of Boones Farm Strawberry wine and some Whitehall imitation cheese. Now, I gotta tell you about Whitehall imitation cheese. Don’t buy it! I don’t know what the hell it is. Years ago, when I had to seriously cut corners so damn bad that 50 cent imitation cheese looked good, I bought a package of this Whitehall ‘imitation cheese’ and let me tell you, this is the only thing that could make it unscathed through a nuke attack. I microwaved the shit out of that Whitehall ‘imitation cheese’, opened the microwave door and that shit was like, “is this all you got? Bring it!” I put that goddamn shit into the conventional oven, turned that sucker up to 450 degrees and can ya believe it? Forty minutes later, that fucking shit was smiling and completely unscathed.

You see, imitation this and imitation that is where we’re headed with the ‘contraction’ of the American economy. When Wal-Mart has been pissing and moaning over its dismal sales especially over its low sales of food items, the American economy is contracting. When Target is pissing and moaning and getting rid of top executives to try and rev up its sagging sales figures, the American economy is contracting. When car dealerships all across America are over-inventoried due to Americans holding on to their cars for as long as they possibly can, the American economy is contracting. When food stamps for millions of Americans continue to be cut, the American economy is going to contract. When rents are skyrocketing all across America, the American economy is going to contract. And let me repeat this, when wages all across America, remain stagnant, the American economy is going to contract and if anybody tells you that the ‘Great Recession’ is over, you say, “Whitehall! And I ain’t buying it, motherfuckers!”

And yet, if you look toward Wall Street, you would think that all is well and cozy here in the land of the hypnotized and the afraid. Don’t buy it, it’s Whitehall! It’s smoke and mirrors. It’s an illusion, it ain’t the real deal. Quietly, all over the world, governments are working tirelessly to put paid to the American dollar and as if we don’t have it bad enough already, it’s about to get worse and how! Oh, I’m not trying to scare anyone as there are so many who are already living a ‘worse case’ scenario. It’s just that millions more will soon join them and no, I am not liking this one bit. In fact, I was watching a video just yesterday about ‘going back to the basics’, living off the land and it was real interesting and it’ll probably get more and more popular as we head deeper into uncharted territory. I would recommend that you watch some of those videos of survival in the wild or surviving on nothing or ‘survival guide for the doomed’, or something like. I hope that you’ll never need it, but just in case, it could come in handy. Ya never know!

So, to my fellow Americans, try to remember what is really important, love, life and each other. We couldn’t understand that. But understand this, we have been heading towards a collapse for some time. The safety net has been gutted and yet, the Wall Street players are like the last dancers on the Titanic, wining and dining and having a great old time before the bottom drops out, pretending that we’re not sinking, we’ve just hit a temporary glitch and all will right itself soon. No indeed, that will not be the case. This ship is going down and there are no lifeboats for the millions who will drown in the sea of abject poverty, hopelessness and despair. America has fucked up too many times and has fucked over the world’s people, including her own, too many times for the shit to not come back and bite America’s ass. Unfortunately, the innocent will go down before the guilty do. That is the way it has always been because the guilty can still pay for the illusion while the rest of us behold reality. The reality of inflation, the reality of unpaid bills, the reality of standing in long lines at the food bank, the reality of no discretionary spending, the reality of choosing food over medicine, the reality of water shut-offs like what’s happened in Detroit. Detroit is having mass shut-offs of water for people who are jobless and can’t pay the water bill. This is just the beginning. Soon, there will be mass shut-offs of electricity. What is going to happen when winter sets in? What will people do? What city is next? This is our America people and it is truly sad that this country had so much potential for so many and yet so few took from the many and we passively let them and so now we come to this, a fool’s paradise, a rich man’s dream(for now) in our America.

Stand In Solidarity With You? HA!

I am going to do a complete about face and I am going to stand in solidarity with the white motherfuckers who are now fucked up and ain’t hardly liking it. I am going to stand in solidarity with them because they stood in solidarity with me.

When I lost my job because I was the last person to get hired and when the economy tanked, I was the first person to get laid off. You white motherfuckers stood in solidarity with me. You told the boss, “that ain’t hardly fair! She’s such a hard worker. If you fire her, you’ve got to fire me too. We’re standing in solidarity together!”

When my credit took a nosedive because I lost my job and couldn’t pay the rent and was homeless with my two kids, you white motherfuckers stood in solidarity with me. You spoke up and said, “those goddamn credit reports are hurting those who have lost their jobs. It ain’t hardly right and we’re standing in solidarity to protest the foulness of that shit because shit happens to good people. We’re standing in solidarity together!”

When I had to get on public assistance because I couldn’t find a job and my kids were failing in school because shelter life ain’t easy, you white motherfuckers stood in solidarity with me. You didn’t belittle me and call me a ‘freeloading, Cadillac driving welfare queen who couldn’t keep her legs closed.” You went to bat for me. You saw that I was just about broken and with your relentless reaching out on my behalf to city and state officials, I was able to pull myself up with the aid of the assistance that I had to take while trying to get back on my feet. You said, “We’re standing in solidarity together!”

When the police brutally beat my teenage son, put him in a wheelchair simply because they could, you white motherfuckers stood in solidarity with me. You didn’t turn your back when you saw the beatings and heard of the outright murders that were perpetrated against other young Black men by racist ass cops. You stood in solidarity with me because you knew that shit was wrong. “We’re standing in solidarity together!”

When you white motherfuckers saw that my nieces and nephews were not getting a decent education and the new catch phrase became, “the school to prison pipeline,” you weren’t okay with that. You loudly voiced your disgust at what was purposely being done to Black communities all across this country. You stood in solidarity with me because you know that shit just ain’t right. “We’re standing in solidarity together!”

When you saw the incarceration statistics for young Black men caught up in the ‘for profit prison industrial complex’ over selling some dime bags of weed, you raised such a hue and cry, they let ‘em go. You stood in solidarity with me. “We’re standing in solidarity together!”

When you saw the national unemployment rate inch down and yet the unemployment rate for Black people remained in the double digits, you decried the foulness of that shit. You said, “goddamn it! Crime is high in the Black neighborhoods because unemployment is so goddamn high! Something needs to be done!” You stood in solidarity with me. “We’re standing in solidarity together!”

When you saw the abject poverty in Black communities all across this country, you…uh…never mind, you’re scared to come into the ‘hood’, but I am sure that you stood in solidarity with me. “We’re standing in solidarity together!”

Now, let’s fast forward to 2008 when the economy was collapsing and people were losing their homes and the Wall Street criminals were bailed out and then we began to hear about the ‘middle class’ getting fucked up. I went to pick up the phone because you had stood in solidarity with me throughout all of my troubling times but when I tried to find a number to call in the ‘solidarity group’ that had stood beside me, there were only blank pages!

When did you stand in solidarity with me? When did you ever give a goddamn about the problems that have plagued Black communities and just why the fuck are there so many ‘Black’ communities and not just ‘communities’ if we stand in solidarity together? Surely, you live right beside me because we’ve been in this all along, haven’t we? We stood together, side by side against those who have been oppressing my ass all along. Uh…no, we haven’t stood together in solidarity because my problems were never made your problems until now and now, I’m to stand in solidarity with you? Hell if that’s so!

We’ve had our ass handed to us and then some and now you want me to stand in solidarity with you because you’re just now starting to feel the impact of some shit that’s been finally let loose on YOUR ass? Ain’t gonna happen! Over a million of our Black men are in prison. We are segregated just as we’ve always been. We’re still suffering from the effects of disenfranchisement, rampant unemployment, extreme poverty, drug addiction, racism, bigotry and hate, but now, you want some solidarity? Ha! That IS funny! You left me to make it or not on my own and that is exactly where YOU stand. Make it or get broken by it because it don’t hardly matter to me what happens to you! You’ll get from me as much ‘solidarity’ as you gave me, nada! I’ve figured out what I need to do and now it’s YOUR turn! Figure it out!
